Happy Halloween Eve

Protected by Copyscape Plagiarism Tool

We've been seeing this beautiful pup on our walk for the past few weeks. She likes to say hi to us everyday.

Look at all these cool pumpkins. They are very festive!

Oooooh, we thought this ghost was scary! What do you think?

How many of your are dressing up for Halloween tomorrow?

Our weekend in Tahoe

was so much fun! We hiked the Tahoe Rim Trail.
Sierra met a beautiful Malamute named Talullah and felt that she had to show her who was boss. What is it with girls?!
Once we got to the top, I began looking for squirrels.
After our hike, we had a picnic at the Lake. Here I am hanging with my favorite Lady.
And with my BFF, Milo.
Can you see my owie? I have a swollen paw pad. We're not sure what it's from...maybe the giant ants that we saw on the hike, or too much rock climbing. I'm taking it easy so I can rest up to go on walkies again. A day without walking is just not fun.

Today I...

did a lot of this.
And a lot of this.
Can you believe Daddy is still not home from golfing? That must be some tournament. I mean who plays golf all day and all night? We did go for a walk and enjoyed the cooler weather. Mommy says Daddy will be home tomorrow. I can't wait to see him. I'm all rested up and ready for some play time.

What are you doing this weekend?

A fun day...

...in San Francisco!

This was mine and Sierra's first time going across the Golden Gate Bridge.
I can feel the cooler weather already.
Stinson Beach, we love you!
What? No pets allowed?
We were VERY happy to find out that there was a part of Stinson Beach where pups are allowed off leash.
We had a great walk down the shore.
We had a ton of fun playing with the water.
Mommy just loves paw prints.

Friday Fruits

Here are some of the cool fruit trees that we see every day. Some of these apricots almost look ready. What do you think?
Here is a plum tree. Some of these look ready too. We can't wait to check up on Grandma and Grandpa's plum tree.
Daddy says those little green things are going to turn into grapes. Sierra and I are very excited to see.
We sure hope our neighbors will share their fruits.

Week thirteen in the garden

This is what Daddy built yesterday. A lettuce box. Mommy loves it. We all can't wait for the seeds to start sprouting.
Daddy guided me through the garden today. I can already taste the strawberries.
The zucchini plants grew a lot this week.
Can you believe this tomato plant came from a seed that we started thirteen weeks ago?!
We thinned out the turnips earlier this week and I think they already grew back.
The mint plants look pawesome. Mommy says she needs to order some tea so she can make mint tea.
Checking in on all the potato plants. I think we're going to have a lot of potatoes!!!
The corn and bok choy grew a lot this week too!
And so did the cucumbers.
P.S. I am very happy to report that we did get a great long walk today.

What do you do...

when life gives you lemons, I mean apples? You make lemonade, I mean applesauce. Mommy was very disappointed about the organic fuji apples we received from our Azure order. We've never gotten bad apples before. The good news is that she received a full credit and she'll be able to salvage some of the apples to make applesauce. She says she's going to make it tomorrow. I can't wait. It was a beautiful, sunny day today. We did a lot of work in the garden and had a great walk. If it starts to get any warmer we'll have to go for night time walkies. How are you enjoying the weekend?

Week seven in the garden

Daddy went to work on the garden as soon as he and Mommy got home from church today. The mint plants needed to go into the ground. Look at my hard working Daddy. I tried to convince him to use a shovel but he said there's nothing better than working the ground with your hands.
After they'd all been planted, Daddy said they needed lots of water. Too bad we didn't know the rain was coming...and staying, all day.
Our heirloom tomatoes, kale, herbs, and onion are doing great!
Our other seeds have started sprouting too! We couldn't believe it. We were very excited to see the heirloom tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, and stevia.
The potatoes have yet to make an appearance. It rained almost all day today. But guess what? It stopped raining just in time for our walk. Whew! Did everyone enjoy their weekend?

Some new friends...

...around our neighborhood. We took a long walk around our neighborhood today. We see so many pups during our walk every day but only these two were out today. We just love this Great Pyrenees. Mommy and Daddy feel sad for him because he is outside all day. Every day. They wish they could rescue him and bring him home. Mommy wants to bring him some treats. She says he doesn't look like the kind of pup that gets treats. Mommy gets teary eyes just thinking about him.
This guy reminds Mommy of Teddy Ruxpin. We love seeing him every day. Even though he barks at us, his tail is wagging the whole time so we know he's happy to see us. We're happy to see him too.

Fun on a Friday

We see this adorable Husky every day on our walk. He loves to jump up and say hi to us. We would've never known what he looked like except for his amazing leaping abilities. He can jump straight up, twice his own height. I wish I could jump as high as he can. We finished our walk just before the rain started. It's supposed to stop by tomorrow. I hope the weather person is right. Happy Good Friday, everyone.:)

Week three in the garden

Happy 2nd day of Spring, everyone! The unpacking is going very well. Mommy got most of the kitchen unpacked while Daddy worked on unpacking the bedroom stuff. Sierra and I napped a lot since we didn't nap at all yesterday. We went for a great walk around the neighborhood. Daddy tried to play a trick on me during our walk. I was looking around our new neighborhood while Daddy was impatiently waiting for me so we could cross the street. As soon as he got my attention, he said, "Let's go!" I was in full sprint mode and took 2 steps before I realized that the sidewalk was ending. I stopped and sat like a good boy. Sneaky, sneaky, Daddy. I always sit before crossing the street. Our garden is doing well. I am so excited that there are strawberries growing. I hope the birds don't get to them before we do. All of our seedlings are sprouting like weeds. They'll be ready to go into the ground before we know it.

Week two in the garden

I am very happy to report that most of our seeds are sprouting and doing great. Some of the herbs have not sprouted yet. We hope to see them sprout this week. Mommy is amazed at how one little seed can produce so much. We went to Grandpa's house to do a little painting in our new room. Mommy and Daddy finished really quickly and then we had a great walk around our soon to be new neighborhood. Sierra and I both didn't eat our dinners. Mommy and Daddy think it has to do with the time change. Why do humans need to spring forward and fall backward anyway?

Garage Sale Saturday

Mommy and Daddy worked well into the early hours this morning getting ready for our garage sale. We are very thankful for such a great turn out. Guess who came to our garage sale? Our neighbor, Raiden. He is six months old and still growing. We didn't get to play since I was a little cautious of him (he hasn't had his big boy surgery).
Then Grandma, Uncle Bey Bey, and our cousins came over to help. Have I told you what a great sales person my Grandma is? Here she is showing people just how comfortable our futon is. The futon sold minutes after she was resting on it.
After a hard day of work, we all had a delicious Grandma made lunch of sushi and kalbi. Uncle Bey Bey made himself at home on my couch. He even napped with me and Mommy on my couch. Then we all went for a walk. The sun was out and there was a cool breeze.
After everyone left, we headed over to Grandpa's house to do some cleaning. The kitchen is almost done. Just a little paint and some switch covers and we'll be set. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
