This is...

...what our truck looked like when we left our cabin yesterday. DIRTY.

So we went to the car wash today. Car washes can be a little scary? Any pup with me on that one?

Happy Birthday to the best Mommy!!! After dinner, Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa, Auntie Kim, and Uncle Sean went to have birthday cake at our new home so we are promised that there will be leftover cake for us tomorrow.

Some more photos from yesterday....

Daddy went to play in the snow at Northstar. Here he is carefully mapping out his course for this run down the hill.

Can you believe he weaves in and out of those trees? He says there is nothing like untouched powder.

While Daddy was out, we had some fun of our own. Come on, Sierra, lets make as many tunnels as we can!

Hmmm...to snowskate or to not snowskate?

This was waiting for us at the end of our walkie last night. Mommy said it was stunning.

Guess who...

...is in the snow? That's right!!! Sierra and I are here at our snow covered cabin. There was a lot of traffic on the drive up so I was able to leave some pee-mail on the freeway.

This is my kind of weather. I think minus two degrees is the coldest Mommy's truck has ever seen in the fur.

Sierra and I are surrounded by snow everywhere we go!!!

Cousin Andrew's friend brought her fur baby, Rocco. Sierra and I are having a ton of fun playing with him.

I'm a little...

...suspicious! Why does Daddy have his snowboarding gloves out? And why are they next to my leash? Is Daddy going to play in the snow...without me...AGAIN? Sigh....

Sierra's Scoop

It's Tuesday again and that means I get my very own photo shoot. First, I am going get my fur brushed and then I will put on a cute scarf before the cameras start flashing. I feel like a supermodel without all the money. Today, Daddy said I looked like a million bucks so that's a good start right. A star is born...

I helped...

...Mommy while she wrote out all the names for the giveaway.

And the winner is...

Congratulations, Scout and Freyja!!! We're so excited you won your own bag of Newman's Own Organic Salmon and Sweet Potato cookies.

Look what...

...Cousin Andrew brought for Daddy.

It sure smells good.

Wow...look at the size of that chocolate bar. Daddy said it tastes really good too.

Can you tell...

...who's missing from these pictures? Here is Daddy with my Uncle Brian.

Here he is with my Cousin Andrew.

Is that a look of disbelief on your face, Daddy? Yeah, I can't believe it either!

Why am I the only one missing from these photos? Oh, that look of disbelief is from all the fresh powder that you got to play in all day long? Daddy, I think it's time for us to break up. This was the last straw!

Look what Grandpa...

brought home for us. Some Newman's Own Organic cookies. Mommy usually makes all our cookies at home but Grandpa saw these at the store and he said they were a steal. Salmon and sweet potato cookies? Hmmmmmm.

They smell pretty good to me.

Sierra loves them!

How would you like to try a bag of these yummy cookies? (Grandpa brought home three bags). Simply leave a comment for one entry. Blog about about it on your blog and leave another comment letting us know you did for another entry. We'll pick the winner on Monday.

Happy weekend, everyone!!!

Guess where...

...I went today? To my least favorite place...the VET. Here I am hiding behind Mommy's legs.

If you watch closely, you can actually see me shaking. This was the first time I've done that at the VET. I really, really don't like it there.

We got out of there quickly after I got my Rabies Vaccination and a wellness exam. I am in pawfect health. Now, let's go home!

Sierra's Scoop

Today, as I was loving on our cute little Valentine's bear when all of a sudden, Teddy Bear came along and tried to take it away from me before I was done. So, we had a tug of war over who gets to destuff it first but in the end he let me win and let me pull the bear away. I bet I won't be so lucky next time though because I think Teddy is the biggest toy hog in the world?

Sierra and I...

...would like to wish everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day!!!

We hope your day was filled with lots of...

Our Valentine's dinner was made up of steak, grilled asparagus, and bacon smashed potatoes with parsley and chives from our garden.

Mommy made a lemon cake with lemon glaze for dessert.

Sierra checking out our new Valentine's stuffie. We were too exhausted to play with it after our extra long walk so we promise to give it some love tomorrow. We're expecting rain showers all week. Sad face.

We were too exhausted to play with

Decisions...decisions....

Mommy and Daddy have been looking at refrigerators for the past two weekends. There are a lot to choose from and though their dream fridge is a Sub-Zero, that will have to wait until they can have their dream kitchen. So for now one of these will have to do. Which one do you like the best? Any of our friends out there in blog land have a fridge that they love? Here are the ones that our pawrents have their eye on...
the Kitchen Aid,

the LG,

and the Samsung.

We just want them to pick one already so they can be at home with us instead of refrigerator shopping. I mean they aren't even at a store where they can shop for treats.

Guess what we had...

...for dinner tonight? Homemade pizza and the steamed broccoli that we harvested yesterday. They were both delicious. Mommy did say she thought the broccoli was a bit tastier since we grew it from a tiny little seed. We hope to grow more next year.

Friday, February 11, 2011

We want to thank...

...everyone for your comments regarding the broccoli. We were all very excited to harvest it tonight. Come on, Daddy, hurry!

Mmmmmmm, sure smells good. We think we'll wait till Mommy steams it before eating some.

Happy weekend, everyone!

Thursday, February 10, 2011

Do you think...

...our broccoli is ready to harvest? This is our first year growing broccoli and we just aren't sure. Mommy wants to wait and let the broccoli get as big as it can before we harvest it. Daddy thinks it might be ready for harvest already. What do you think?

Sierra's Scoop

WOW...Mommy was looking at more than sixty different color samples tonight. I don't really see a difference between most of them though. Daddy insists buying paint from Sherwin Williams because in their store they have a Keurig coffee maker for the customers while they shop. Mommy said that's not a good enough reason. Then Daddy said that it's the extra things companies do to make their customers happy that counts. I agree and that is a pretty classy move on Sherwin Williams part. But how about a more dog friendly store? A jar of treats on the counter, a bowl of cool water on the floor, and a pet wash for those of us who are wet paint magnets. Yes, I have had paint stuck in my fur and it is not fun and games to remove.

Happy Barkday to Nuka!!!

It's our dear friend Nuka Angel Marie’s 10th Barkday today. To celebrate, the White Dog Army will donate twenty-five cents for every comment left. Nuka has chosen to donate her birthday funds to ERU, Eskie Rescuers United, who saved her and fostered her until she was united with her furever family. Please join in the celebration…and spread the word!

Puppy Bowl Sunday

For some people, today was Super Bowl Sunday but at our house there was a Puppy Bowl Pawty. We had snacks and cool beverages plus front row seats. The football game pretty good too. Great job Packers and Steelers!

Did any of you watch the Puppy Bowl?

This morning...

...Daddy was fueling up his truck and saw a lottery sign in the gas station window. He had to ask himself, do I feel lucky today? Even though Daddy says you have to play to win, Mommy is kind of a penny pincher so we usually don't gamble with our money but I guess today was different. Daddy bought one Lotto ticket for five dollars and would you believe that after I scratched and sniffed it, we won twenty dollars.

I like this game. Lets go buy some more of these winning tickets!
