Week one in the garden

Our move went very well yesterday. Mommy and Daddy are a little more than half way done with all the unpacking. We were very excited yesterday as we knew something was going on. We've been here almost every day for the last month but we've never spent the night in our new home so I was very confused. When it was time for bed, I jumped up onto the couch instead of going to my bed. Mommy called me into our room and I found my way to my bed. When we woke up this morning...we picked up our usual routine. Morning potties followed by morning cookies. Then it was time to get to work in our garden. Daddy had to dig up all these plants before he could plant our strawberries.

One down, twenty four to go!

We're hoping this is a cherry tree.

We are very excited about our two orange trees.

We think these are Thai chilis. What do you think?

I tried my best to stay awake and snoopervise Daddy but the past few days have been very confusing and exciting. Sierra and I are very exhausted.

  1. It looks like you have a beautiful backyard!! We have an orange tree and a huge mango tree (mommy & daddy hate mangoes!)... mommy says they used to have a banana tree, but they had to take it down because it got way out of control. ;)

  2. That garden is going to be wonderful! I can already imagine all the yummy fruits and veggies you'll be growing. Well done on such a fast moving day. I know you've been moving bits and pieces over time, but moving day always seems to bring a trillion unforseen jobs that extend into the day after moving day.
Getting the pups settled for the night really seems to seal the deal for them. "oh - this is where we're living now..."

  3. hey Teddy,

Congratulations on your successful move! I can imagine how tired you must be, with all the new smells and sights, and just the excitement of unpacking in a new place. Your yard looks pawsome! Good luck on your garden, I bet it will be fabulous!
