Week one in the garden

Our move went very well yesterday. Mommy and Daddy are a little more than half way done with all the unpacking. We were very excited yesterday as we knew something was going on. We've been here almost every day for the last month but we've never spent the night in our new home so I was very confused. When it was time for bed, I jumped up onto the couch instead of going to my bed. Mommy called me into our room and I found my way to my bed. When we woke up this morning...we picked up our usual routine. Morning potties followed by morning cookies. Then it was time to get to work in our garden. Daddy had to dig up all these plants before he could plant our strawberries.

One down, twenty four to go!

I tried my best to stay awake and snoopervise Daddy but the past few days have been very confusing and exciting. Sierra and I are very exhausted.

It's...

...moving day. Does moving day mean donuts??? Wow, we never, ever have donuts. If moving day means donuts, I want to move every month...or once every few months.

Daddy picked up the Uhaul truck bright and early this morning. Now it's time to load up and get moving.

Happy Friday...

...and April Fool's Day everyone! The big day is almost here. As you can see, a lot of our things have already moved to our new home. There isn't a whole lot left except for some boxes, furniture, and our freezers. Do you like Mommy's temporary tv tray desk? She says it reminds her of college days...when you make do with what you have.:)

Sierra's Scoop

Our new house doesn't have a lot of soft thing to lay on since were not quite moved in yet. But there have been a few of these sheets laying around. Over the last couple weeks you can usually find me laying on one of them. Hopefully I will get a couch or a my bed to lay on soon since I get the feeling we are moving in this weekend. Yaaayyyyy.

We are getting closer...

...to our moving date. We moved a ton of boxes to our new home today. Whew. Thankfully, Mommy has been bringing over 5-6 boxes every time we visit our new home. It's a good thing that most of them are unpacked. But do you see the boxes behind me? There are a lot! Our big move is next weekend. We can't believe it's almost time. Mommy keeps saying it doesn't feel real yet.

Sierra's Scoop

Although our big moving day is not for another week or so, Mommy and Daddy have been taking a few boxes to our new home every day. Look what I saw peeking through? Our pink flamingo! I just had to get it out of there.

I've almost...

...got it!

Since our fridge is new, we're fortunate there was nothing inside. Mommy and Daddy are going to get a new, working fridge this weekend.

Suffering Succotash Saturday

Why are there tape guns and flattened boxes laying around the living room? Are all these boxes here 'cause were moving again? I know Mommy and Daddy have been searching for a new home without us for three months straight but don't I get some say in the final decision? I like surprises as much as the next pup but geez, I haven't even seen the yard yet.

Moving Day...more to come later

It's moving day for us! Mommy did not sleep last night and Daddy slept just a few hours. Mommy and Daddy were so thankful to have so many of our family members and friends come help with the move today. Mommy says we are very blessed. The move went very smoothly. Mommy says that moving is one of her least favorite things...well, the packing and unpacking anyway. We hope everyone is having a great weekend.

We worked...

hard at Grandpa's house today. Mommy spent most of the day vacuuming, cleaning, measuring and lining the kitchen cabinets. Can you believe Grandpa has been there over a year and is still not using his cabinets? Daddy and Grandpa cleaned and organized the attic, and moved around lots of furniture. I spent most of the day underneath the dining table. I did get a chance to see the patch up work on the fence. I think it will work for now. I see a new fence coming in the near future. Mommy found this fox while looking through some of Grandpa's boxes. Sierra and I thought it was a toy at first but it smelled too real to be a toy. It smelled like a distant relative. What is going on with all this commotion at Grandpa's house? Daddy said we are moving there soon!!! I'm sad to report that it's been raining all day...from the moment we woke up. This is the first time in a LONG time that we've not had our daily walk. I hope my magic powers come back tomorrow and the rain lets up a bit so we can go for a walk.
