There's no place...

...like home. The best thing about being home is getting back to our daily routine. We're so thankful that our pawrents like to snack as much as we do. One of Daddy's favorite snacks is cheese and salumi with crackers. Boy are we glad that Daddy likes to share. What do your pawrents like to snack on?

Salumi? Salami?

Recently, Mommy learned that salami is a type of salumi. Who would have thought that we didn't know the name of one of our favorite snacks. Tonight we snacked on wild boar salumi and raw cheese from France along with crackers. Let the holiday eating begin!

Who here loves snacks?

I know I sure do. I am so glad Mommy and Daddy love snacks too. I guess we are what you call snackers. Tonight we enjoyed raw cheese and salami with crackers. You can't see Sierra but she's on the other side waiting patiently for our favorite snack.

Waiting for snacks

Daddy likes to have a snack almost every night. Can you blame him? There are so many yummy foodies out there. This is how I look when I'm watching, ehem, patiently waiting for a yummy morsel. I have to jump up on the couch to be next to Mommy. This ensures that I'll get something.

Sierra waits patiently next to Daddy. Daddy loves throwing the treats to Sierra. She's the best catcher.

How about you? What do you do while waiting for a treat from your pawrents?

Waiting...

...for someone to notice that I need a snack. Excuse the blurry photo but Daddy thought it was hilarious when he walked into the hallway and saw me in the kitchen, waiting. Even when Mommy and Daddy are out of sight, I sit and I wait, patiently for my snack.

I wonder...

...how long it will take for Mommy to notice that I'm ready for my snack? I hope it's not too long.

What is your favorite snack?

This is how...

I let Mommy know when I need a snack. We can be at Grandma's house, at our cabin, or at home...and underneath the kitchen sink is where I wait patiently until Mommy gives me a snack. Our snacks consist of beef jerky, duck jerky, and crunchy salmon cookies. How do you let your pawrents know when you're ready for a snack?

Puppy Bowl Sunday

For some people, today was Super Bowl Sunday but at our house there was a Puppy Bowl Pawty. We had snacks and cool beverages plus front row seats. The football game pretty good too. Great job Packers and Steelers!

Did any of you watch the Puppy Bowl?

Azure Monday

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!! Look at all our goodies from Azure Standard this month. Oats for my dinner (and homemade granola). Emergen-C for Daddy. Zukay salad dressing for salads. Soap to get us clean. Vanilla for baking. Honey for our cookies, tea, granola, and yogurt. Avocados for salads, sandwiches, and guacamole. I've never had it but Mommy and Daddy love them. They love avocados so much that they sometimes eat them plain. I think I need a snack now. How about you?

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for Greenies! They are my favorite after dinner snack. We were running really low. Thank goodness the UPS man brought us a fun package. What is your favorite after dinner snack?

Savory Snacks

Look at what Sierra and I had for snacks today? Shrimp and scallops from Mommy's birthday cioppino. They were quite tasty! Daddy tried to get photos of Sierra with her snacks but she ate hers way too fast. Seafood is yummy. I can see why my feline friends are so fond of it. Rain is expected most of this week. Keep your paws crossed that my magic powers will be in full force to stop the rain for walkie time.

Sierra's Scoop

I wish the weather was this perfect everyday. Teddy Bear and I enjoyed the weather by playing outside. When we came inside we had some grass fed beef for a snack. I loved it but Teddy Bear got an upset tummy because he didn't chew his food before swallowing. A little while later I found his portion of the meat hidden by the book shelf. So naturally I gobbled it up with out hesitation. I hope he doesn't smell it on my breath. Besides, finders, keepers, right?

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for homemade organic cheese crackers. Mommy found this recipe. They are very healthy and quite delicious! Mommy puts all the ingredients into the food processor until it forms a ball. Then she puts it onto her stoneware and rolls it out with a tiny rolling pin till it's pretty thin and flat. Next she cuts it so the crackers will be easier to break apart after baking. Then she pokes holes in the dough. Then in to the oven they go. Don't they look pretty? Now it's time for them to go into my tummy. They have become one of my new favorite snacks. Thanks, Mommy!
