Week thirty nine in the garden

Our broccoli florets have finally arrived!

Our lemon balm is looking and smelling great.

And so is our rosemary.

The sweet potato leaves look super lush and green. We hope that means there are lots of sweet potatoes growing.

Can you believe our bell pepper plant has started growing peppers again?

The leaves on our tomato plant look like we're in the middle of July. We hope to get another crop before first frost.

There are strawberries growing!!!

Don't you think the lettuce looks like a flower?

Thankful Thursday

Look at this grass fed beef marrow bone surrounded by tons of meat. Auntie Flo saved this for us. Sierra and I have been getting a few pieces every day. We are very thankful.
Mommy got an entire grocery bag filled with rosemary. It's from Auntie Flo and Uncle Tim's garden. Mommy says this should last a really, really long time.
It's almost fall and the weather must be confused because the temperatures feel the middle of summer. We are keeping our paws crossed for cooler temps soon!

Week twenty six in the garden

We have lots and lots of tomatoes coming in!!!
And look, our lettuce is starting to take off.
Our butternut squash grew a ton this week.
Our strawberries are so yummy. We harvest them almost every day.
And yes, we still have loads and loads of zucchini.
The rosemary smells really good.
We have four watermelon coming in right now. Look at these two that are side by side.
Mommy is very excited about all the bell peppers.
She thinks that the perilla is really pretty.
