Every morning...

...when Mommy wakes up, she opens the door and lets me out into our backyard.  We've been having some cool mornings lately (after the heat wave) so I've been staying out there a little longer than usual.  Mommy was getting ready for work while Daddy was making green smoothies when I came back into the house.  When Daddy saw me, he ran toward me to smell the dirtiness that was all over my fur.  He told me to get back outside but I didn't want to...I mean I had just come inside.  But he told me again so out I went.  Mommy had to take off her work clothes and get into her "Teddy and Sierra spa day" clothes.  I went in to the bathtub and was given a half bath.
Oopsie, did I make you late for work, Mommy?  Mommy and Daddy can't figure out what it was that I rolled in.  Daddy picked up all of our doggy dropping last night so it will always remain a mystery because I'll never tell.

Dirty Friday

Well guess where we went today? We went to Daddy's work.

Sierra had a five p.m. VET appointment for some routine shots so I assured her that the shots wouldn't hurt too much.
Whenever we spend the day at Daddy's work we come home with dirty paws that make us look like we are wearing little black socks. Then we leave dirty little foot steps all over the carpet and upholstery.

Daddy must have cleaned the floors this week before we got there because they weren't too bad this time. Daddy also did a good job of covering most of the floor in his office with a clean drop cloth. I am glad to report our feet didn't get too dirty but even after all that, I get the feeling that it's still gonna be bath time very soon.

Oopsie...I did it...

again. I found this great patch of dirt to roll in. Remember that stinky fertilizer that Daddy put around our citrus trees? Well, it was calling my name again. Here, Teddy Bear, come roll around in the dirt.

I thought it was pretty fun but guess who didn't? That's right, my Mommy.

Can you see all the tears on my face from being told that I was a bad boy?

Straight to the bath I went.

Daddy is looking into cement pavers to put around our lemon and lime trees. He is very hopeful that these rocks will keep me away for a while.

But I can't promise anything....

First bath...

...in our new home. Mommy and Daddy have been very busy lately. They've been meaning to give us a bath for a few weeks now. Of course, Sierra and I don't mind...at all. But today was the day. There was nothing planned except for a trip to Costco and to Home Depot today. Sierra always goes first since she takes a lot less time at the spa.

Next it was my turn. Do you like out make shift bath mat? We had a tile shower at Grandpa's house so a mat wasn't necessary. However, our new home has a bath tub and it is very slippery. Thank goodness Daddy thought to use a towel as our bath mat for today. Mommy has already put the bath mat on her shopping list.

We didn't get pictures but there was a reward of delicious jerky.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

I hope your day was filled with lots of corned beef and green beer. Since most of our things are in boxes, this was the only green thing Mommy could find. Really, Mommy? Did it have to have white flowers? And shouldn't Sierra be wearing the flowers since she's the girl? Oh, she's no where to be found because it's bath day? Got it...Teddy Bear...over and out.

Sierra's Scoop

About once a month Mommy gives us a bath. It is a long, strenuous process for Mommy and for us. I'm first 'cause my short hair is not as thick as my brothers so it only takes half the time to wash and dry me. I feel bad for Teddy because his bath time lasts for over an hour and the hair dryer doesn't work very good on his thick coat so on days like today his fur hasn't completely dried even after 6 hours.

I think the worst part of bath day is the hair dryer because it sounds like a vacuum.

But the best part of bath day is all the yummy snacks we get for enduring all the torture of getting clean.

Fun on a Friday

Even though bath day was a few days ago, we'd thought it'd be fun to share with you what happens after my bath. We hope you enjoy.

We went to see...

Grandma today. (Grandpa was playing golf). When we got there, Uncle Bey Bey was getting a bath. See what he thinks of bath time?

After bath time we all went for a walkie. Daddy was is need of coffee so we walked a bit further. Daddy got his favorite, a white mocha. We didn't bring water since we were only going for a short walkie so he got us some water. This is the first time we'd even drank from a coffee cup. Since Mommy didn't have her camera we had to reenact the scene when we got home.

Have any of you ever had coffee before?

Not so fun on a Friday

Guess what today was, Friends? Bath day! Can you believe Mommy wanted to do a photo shoot in the middle of my bath?
Ok, Mommy, no more pictures, please. I'm ready to be dried. My total bath time=2 hours.
Sierra was next. She hates baths more than I do. She's so happy because she's almost done. Sierra's total bath time=1 hour.
And the result=2 clean, fluffy white pups.
This is what Mommy pulled out of the lint screen from the dryer after washing our bath towels.
