Boy was it a...

...HOT day today, 98 degrees to be exact. We stayed in for most of the day at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They babysat us while Mommy and Daddy went to my cousin's birthday party. Of course we were invited but Mommy and Daddy knew that there was going to be a young puppy there and since she hasn't had all of her shots they thought it would be best for us to meet her later. Her name is Roxy and she and her 7 other brothers and sisters were abandoned at a football field in Richmond, CA. She belongs to my auntie's sister in law. The vet thinks that she is a Lab/German Shepherd mix. Some of her siblings look like Labs and some of them look like German Shepherds. How could anyone abandon such cutie pies? It breaks my Mommy's heart just thinking about it. The vet thinks Roxy is seven to eight weeks old. Mommy and Daddy said she's super cute and for now, very sleepy. We can't wait to meet her.

  2. She is absolutely LABradorable! People do such mean and nasty things to animals but just look at what they do to each other - horrible, too. Wishing the new baby a long and happy life.

Domi, the therapy dog, has passed to the Bridge this weekend. Our blog contains her last letter to her friends. Please come to visit. It would mean so much to our momma and then go to Domi's blog to offer condolences. Momma is crying a lot today.

  3. Poor Roxy has had a rotten start at life, we are glad she now has a loving forever home! People can do such wonderful things...and such horrible ones...they are a crazy species. Hope it cools off.
