Week twenty seven in the garden

It was another scorcher today. I demand cooler weather. Now! I think our cantaloupe is almost ready to harvest. It smells super sweet and there are no more green lines. The cucumber plant is doing well and making its way up the trellis. Some of our tomatoes are slowly starting to turn red. Daddy thinks the onions are almost ready. We watched Tiger Woods play in The Tour Championship. Even though he didn't win we are glad he won the Fed Ex Cup. Way to go Tiger! I hope everyone had a good weekend!

  1. Your garden is just beautiful, Teddy! Dad's garden is a wild mess out there!
Let us know how your cantaloupe tastes, okay?

    Love ya lots
    Maggie and Mitch

  2. Do you have any pumpkins, Teddy? If you do, our momma has a really cute decorating idea for them on her personal blog. You can find it on our bloggy sidebar.

We are so sorry that it is so hot for you but look on the bright side, it's lots cooler where we live and our summer is all gone...sigh.

  3. Will it evfur khool down fur woo?

    Happy Harvesting!

  4. Teddy, we are so sorry that you are not having the wonderful Fall weather we are enjoying...hopefully it will come your way soon. The garden is still going strong. Tell mom to check out my blog for today to find out who all the people on the quiz were.

  5. Silly heat!! It is hot again in Texas today too, but it is SUPPOSE to cool off tonight. I hope it gets cooler where you are too!

  6. You really are a great gardener, just pawsome. Hope you will get to cool off soon!

  7. Hi, Teddy!

I had some cantaloupe this weekend! I hope you enjoy yours soon!

    Kisses and hugs

  8. My mom might be making me a garden bed. Not sure what that means. Is she gonna make me sleep in the garden? I don't really like vegetables. Maybe cantelope is good though, but that's a fruit so that's okay.

  9. what a great garden, Teddy! You are a master gardener!
