Mommy was cold...

...tonight and wanted to cover up with a blanket. I thought I'd get nice and cozy with her since I love napping on the couch sometimes. If you can't tell, I'm dreaming of running and burrowing through the snow and then feasting on a steak dinner followed by ice cream for dessert. No wonder why Mommy loves this blanket so much...the best dreams happen here.

Sierra's Scoop

Happy Tuesday everyone, it's Sierra! There I was, napping on my favorite couch when all of a sudden...click, click, click. The photo shoot began. Don't you just hate when this happens? I was having the best dream? Want me to fill you in? I was running in the snow, chasing after tons of birdies. After that I went inside and found the biggest pile of steak and steak bones. Then for dessert we had ice cream and donuts. Click, click! I hated waking up from that dream.

Can't you see that I'm very sleepy, Mommy? No more click clicks, please.

Sierra's Scoop

Wow it is really HOT! It was 90 degrees when we went walking at 9 pm but it was still too hot so we had to take the short way home. To help cool us down Teddy asked for ice cream but for now we settled on ice cubes in our water bowl. The trick to eating ice around here is to not drop it on the hardwood floor because its impawsible to pick it back up with only your teeth. If you can make it there, the best place to eat ice is on Mommy and Daddy's bed.
Teddy and I like to take turns sitting in front of the fan. Sometimes it feels so good that I fall asleep. He doesn't mind though. If I take too long, he just waits. Brothers are the best!

Thankful Thursday

Remember how Mommy wasn't able to bake a cake for Daddy on his birthday because she was out of rapadura? She promised to make up for it. Well, that promise came through tonight. Look at this super duper yummy ice cream cake from Coldstone. It's the second best thing to Mommy's homemade cake (she's still out of rapadura).
We all enjoyed our share of Daddy's birthday cake.

I am so thankful for strawberries from our garden. They may be small but they sure are yummy! We had some for dessert tonight with ice cream and pineapples.
Daddy is so nice to share his with me.
What are you thankful for today?

Week ten in the garden

We couldn't believe how much our potato plants grew this week. Sierra and I counted twenty seven plants!
We transported some of our seedlings into bigger pots.
The turnips are beginning to sprout.
I think our mint plants have grown just a tiny bit.
Look at these gorgeous strawberries. We harvested these today. We didn't get to eat any of them today. It was a busy day. I'm keeping my paws crossed for tomorrow.
Here is a glimpse of Grandma and Grandpa's plum tree. It's a huge tree and we can't wait to harvest all the plums. We are very excited!!!
It was Grandma's birthday today. All the humans went out to dinner to celebrate. Can you believe there weren't any leftovers? Ugh! Mommy made a homemade vanilla cake with chocolate frosting for Grandma. It was served wit vanilla ice cream. Did I mention it was delicious? So delicious that we forgot to take pictures. But all the pups had our share of vanilla cake (minus the frosting) and ice cream. Hurray for birthdays!!!

Fun on a Friday

I think there should be a Winter Olympic Games for dogs. Wouldn't that be fun? We would meet in the coldest places known to man. For fun we would all perform tricks for treats. There would be ice cream dog sculptures all throughout Olympic Village. Let's contact the Olympic committee already!
