The friendly coyote

Today while Daddy was golfing this fearless little pup came running up to the first tee. The sad part is this coyote only had three legs. He was also very tame so he is probably being fed by some of the golfers that play there. Daddy wanted to bring him home but realized he wouldn't like our little back yard and could be dangerous to me and Sierra. Some of the other golfers said the coyote lived there year round and believed he lived pretty well. I just hope he went to bed today with a full tummy.

Today was...

...a great day to catch up on rest after all the festivities yesterday. We napped a lot. Daddy and Grandpa played golf. Mommy had lunch with a friend who was in town from L.A. I think one of the best things about Thanksgiving is that there are so many leftovers. Here we are waiting for Mommy to give us some turkey. How did you spend the day today?

Not so Fun on a Friday

Look what I saw first thing this morning...the Black Box. Where does Daddy think he's going now? I hope he isn't planning on going to a golf pawty because I am not letting him go!

P.S. Here is the story about the bruise on Mommy's arm. We were on a walkie last Saturday and sometimes I like to go around poles. Usually I am very good about untangling myself. But that day, I saw a Lab puppy. I just had to go say hi to him. So as Mommy was untangling my leash from the stop sign pole, switching the lead from one hand to the next, I started jogging (Mommy would say pulling) toward the Lab puppy. And as a result, I made Mommy scrape her entire arm on against the stop sign pole. But I didn't get in trouble. Mommies are so forgiving that way.

Not so Fun on a Friday

We went for an early walkie this morning. Something's up here...we usually for for walkies after Daddy gets home from work. Golf clubs? This early? Are we going on a road trip, Mommy and Daddy?

Well Daddy is. What do you mean we can't come? Ok, fine, we'll stay home and play with Mommy.

Today's harvest

Look at the size of this heirloom tomato! It's as big as a cantaloupe.

We harvested lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, and our first onion. That was very exciting!
Daddy and Grandpa played golf today and Mommy was busy preserving all the tomatoes. We enjoyed the cool weather and took lots of naps.

What did you do today?

Golfing...

...on a Saturday. Mommy and Daddy left early this morning to go to worship practice. A few hours later, Grandpa said the magic words, "Let's go!" We jumped into his truck and we were off! We had no idea where we were going. We were just happy to be with Grandpa. We met Mommy and Daddy at the golf course. We were very happy to see Mommy and Daddy. We were also excited since we've never been to a golf course before. There was so much to see! They're a lot bigger in pawson. And there is SO much grass...oh the pawsibilities.

Daddy took me for a spin in the golf cart. Boy was that fun!
Then it was time for Daddy and Grandpa to tee off. We were off to see Uncle Bey Bey and Auntie Shila. Mommy was too busy to take pictures because she had to go get her hair cut. Why do humans have to cut their hair? Isn't it a wonder that we pups never need a hair cut?!
We had a full day and weren't able to get to anyone's blogs today but we will definitely catch up tomorrow.

Look what we...

harvested today??? Strawberries. They may be small but I already know they're going to be sweet. Mommy says we'll have them tomorrow.:) We can't wait!!! Daddy went golfing with Grandpa today. Sierra and I took about ten naps, played, and then napped some more. When Daddy got home, we worked in the garden and then we went for a walk. We love lazy Saturdays. Don't you?
