Lake Tahoe Recap

Sierra isn't a big fan of the water. But she does love to lay on anything but the ground. She found a nice comfy chair.
There were a lot of paddle boarders on the Lake. This German Shepherd even got to ride around the lake on one.
There were tons of furry friends to play with.
I love getting my feet wet and chasing the water. I once swam in Lake Tahoe in the middle of January. By the time we walked back to our cabin I had icicles hanging down from my fur. That was way back when Mommy and Daddy didn't have a camera to capture such an epic moment.

Introducing...

...our new Cousin, Kobe. Here is his Petfinder photo. Auntie Kim and Uncle Sean fell in love with him. Today they drove all the way down to the Mojave Desert to bring him home.

They stopped by on their way home so we could meet our newest Cousin. Isn't he a beauty?

The lady at the Shelter thinks he's a Shiba Inu mix. We think he could be mixed with German Shepherd, maybe? What do you think?

We're so thankful for the newest addition to our family and even more grateful that Kobe has found such an amazing furever home. We think Auntie Kim and Uncle Sean are pretty amazing! We're already looking forward to all the play dates, hiking trips, camping adventures, and romping in the snow.

Sierra's Scoop

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a pawesome Christmas. Today was our last day at our cabin. After cleaning and packing up the trucks we all gathered in front of our cabin for a group photo. It looks like I'm going in for a kiss.

We stopped at Northstar to walk around the Village and to get a quick bite to eat.

There were tons of other dogs there...including this adorable German Shepherd.

We had fun watching everyone ice skate. We thought it'd be neat if we could get out on the rink for a while.

We were sad to be leaving the snow storm. It is supposed to snow a lot in the next few days. We can't wait to visit the snow again.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for so many new friends that we were able to meet last weekend. Daisy is the white Sibe and Talullah is the Malamute. We were right behind them on the Tahoe Rim Trail. We even got to play with them once we reached the end of our hike.
Look at this adorable six month old GSD. She was a ton of fun.
And here is Daisy the St. Bernard. She was just beautiful.
Milo and I were in love with this white Sibe. We all played together while our pawrents were picnic-ing.
And these sweet, sweet Pit Bulls sisters were amazing. Can you see that the one on the right is missing a leg? He Daddy told us that her back left leg was run over twice and there was no choice put to amputate it. You wouldn't know that she was missing a leg though. She ran up and down the beach and swam like a pro.
