Mommy and Daddy say...

...house hunting isn't very fun. They'll see a house they like online and find out that it already has an offer on it.

They'll see one in person and really like the house but the backyard is all concrete.

Or they'll really love the backyard but not the house. Sigh....

How long did it take your pawrents do find their first home?

  1. Finding the right home can be a long process and frustrating, Teddy. Luckily for us, our dad makes the decision and mom goes along with it. They've always bought fixer-uppers and worked on them together.
    Good luck!

    Love ya lots,

  2. It can take a really long time, but it is great that they are taking their time. The only thing worse than taking a while to find the right house is picking the wrong house too quick.

  3. It can be hard to find the perfect home. I am sure they will though!

  4. Well, we rent right now. And Mom and Dad are soooo picky. They're funny about the houses though because they'd rather have an awesome yard for us than a house they like... but they can do that since we just rent. Mom says in a year or so we'll be looking for a house to buy and she has a list longer than us about what it needs to have or can't have. Should be tough. Mom is picky.

  7. OMC! Are you going to be moving?
Mom bought her first house in TX by herself and since it was so much less expensive than when she lived in the Bay Area, she was able to make a quick decision.
Good luck with the house hunt!
