What a day!

Both Mommy and I had appointments today.  Mommy went to get her teeth cleaned and I went to get checked for heartworm.  I hate going to the vet more than anything, even more than getting a bath.  Thank goodness Daddy forgot the camera.  I caused quite a scene and it would have been too embarrassing if he would have captured any of it on film.  As soon as we pulled up the building, I knew where we were.  I let out 30 loud dolphin squeals before Daddy made me get out of his truck.  I tried to steer him up the street, away from the vet but it didn't work.  I was shaking and hid under the bench while we were waiting to see the doctor.  Once I was on the exam table, I was fine.  Daddy was in there with me.  The doctor took some blood from my arm and gave me a clean bill of health.  Heartworm free!  Daddy did buy more preventative medicine.  Mommy and Daddy hate for me to take medicine but they say it's better than getting heartworm.  I'll have to take their word for it.  Mommy picked me up after her appt. with the dentist.  We went through the car wash on our way home.  Boy was that an experience!  I have never been through a car wash before.  When we got home, I went straight to one of my favorite places...underneath the futon.  Do you know why?  See that pretty marble table I am laying on?  I love it!  It's nice and cold!  We even went for a walk in between the rain we are having today.  What a traumatic day!

  1. I so hope woo got some TREATS too!
