Did someone say...

...COOKIES?  Mommy is making cookies today!  These are my favorite!  I have 1-4 a day, depending on how hungry I am.  Last night, Mommy and Daddy had crab for dinner.  Mommy shared a little bit of her crab with me.  Boy, was it delicious!

Here is the recipe:

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Patch Biscuits

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 tbsp. apple sauce
4 tbsp. peanut butter
1/2 cup pumpkin (puree or can)
1 whole egg
1/2 milk

Preheat overn to 400 degrees.  Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cut in apple sauce.  Beat egg with milk and pumpkin and combine with flour, mixing well.  Stir until soft dough forms.  Drop by tbsp. onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 min.  Let cool and serve.

*Mommy usually freezes the whole batch and takes out a few a day.

  6. My mom won't share crab with me because I politely take it to the persian rug, spit it out and roll in it! The cookies look very yummy.

Thanks for the get well wishes. I think the medicine is working and I am feeling a little better.

  7. Wow, another pumpkin recipe? My mom was going to make the doggie treats that Hana's mom made and now she may have to make these too! What about me?

  8. My Mom wants to make those biscuits. Are they for humans, too? She is putting a list together of ingredients so she can go do her grocery shopping today or tomorrow.
