Super Bowl Sunday

Due to budget cuts in out television programming, we no longer have access to the Puppy Bowl. I'm sure it was a very exciting game. We had to watch The Who instead. They were ok. Mommy, Daddy, and Grandpa were very excited that the Saints won today. Were any of you able to watch the Puppy Bowl? This is me watching the Puppy Bowl last year.

Sadderday number eight

We have a mail slot on our door and when I saw this today, I wanted to hide it. It's a note from the doctor. He wants to see me so he can steal some blood and give me a shot to keep me safe from something called Parvo. Going to the Vet is my least favorite thing! First off, my doctor is pretty stern. The nurses are very nice and they all love me. And what is with the slippery metal table they put me on? It is WAY too high to be considered safe. Right? I mean, some pups and kitties go to the Vet when they are already hurt. That table is an accident waiting to happen. A visit to the Vet should mean getting healed not getting injured. And what if I want to make a break for it? Ugh! I am not looking forward to this...at all!

Fun on a Friday

Guess who likes to howl? Our neighbor, Raiden. We still haven't been able to play with him. He's still a baby and is scared of other pups. I hope he learns to play soon because I am ready to play with him! Mommy says he's gotten bigger since the last time we saw him. Since we weren't able to play with Raiden, Sierra and I decided to have our own fun. My, what BIG teeth you, Sierra! I think I might be scared! Nah....

Thankful Thursday

Before Mommy and Daddy went organic, raw, crunchy, granola they used to buy the giant packs of string cheese from Costco. This was also during the time that I went to work with Daddy. Daddy would eat his string cheese with an apple every day and of course, he shared with me. Then Mommy and Daddy became more concerned about where our food came from. That was the end of string cheese. I still get regular cheese but haven't had string cheese in a really, really long time. Well guess what? Mommy took something out of the fridge tonight. I knew right away what it was. STRING CHEESE!!! Mommy and Daddy were at Whole Foods the other day and bought one just for me. I am SO thankful! I didn't share with Daddy since I shared with Sierra. She doesn't know what string cheese is but I think she loved it. Oh, string cheese, I've missed you! I think I'll have to put string cheese on my birthday wish list.

Sierra's Scoop

Hi everybody, do you think I look older now because my nose is turning pink? It could be Winter Nose, but then it would only last till it gets warm again. Or like with many other northern breeds, it could just be a sign of my age. I don't know if my nose will ever turn back to brown again. I miss the nice solid color it used to be. I guess the only good thing about a pink nose is that I look more like my brother, Teddy Bear.

Look what Mommy...

...made. I mean, knitted. She knitted a headband to keep her head and ears warm. Sometimes she gets really cold. She wanted me to model it for all my friends. I think she did a great job. She's been learning how to crochet too. As she gets better and better I expect to see lots and lots of knitted/crocheted toys for Sierra and me. My first request will be a squirrel or a mouse or a bone. Doesn't that sound fun?
