Week twenty six in the garden

It looks like our heat wave is finally over and we are so pleased to see that more strawberries are ready to eat.
We lost the battle against spider mites, so Daddy stripped all the leaves off of all our kale plants. It's only been a week or two and there is already new growth. We have had a real kale shortage around our house so Mommy is eagerly watching it grow.
Oh boy did we pick a really big cucumber this weekend. It was a little too big for our taste so we will definitely have to pay more attention to all these little ones growing.
After a half a dozen failed attempts, Daddy gave up on me sniffing a lime for this photo. Sorry Pops, better luck next time.

Do you like...

...my sticker? I don't. It's too bad there was only one sticker. Why, you ask? Because Sierra loves wearing stickers. It must be all the treats we get for patiently wearing them during the photo shoot. How do you feel about wearing stickers?

Thankful Thursday

Look at what Daddy brought home today! One of his friends gave him two organic pineapples. We're so thankful and we can hardly wait till Mommy cuts them up. We can already smell how sweet they're going to taste. Do you like pineapple?

Thankful Thursday

Before Mommy and Daddy went organic, raw, crunchy, granola they used to buy the giant packs of string cheese from Costco. This was also during the time that I went to work with Daddy. Daddy would eat his string cheese with an apple every day and of course, he shared with me. Then Mommy and Daddy became more concerned about where our food came from. That was the end of string cheese. I still get regular cheese but haven't had string cheese in a really, really long time. Well guess what? Mommy took something out of the fridge tonight. I knew right away what it was. STRING CHEESE!!! Mommy and Daddy were at Whole Foods the other day and bought one just for me. I am SO thankful! I didn't share with Daddy since I shared with Sierra. She doesn't know what string cheese is but I think she loved it. Oh, string cheese, I've missed you! I think I'll have to put string cheese on my birthday wish list.
