Sierra's Scoop

Happy Tuesday everyone, it's Sierra! Look what I brought home from the walkie today. It's a really great stick. It's not too thick and it's dry enough to crunch in two so I can share with Teddy Bear. Am I a nice sister or what?

Sierra's Scoop

Hi everybody it's Sierra. Look what I found today on our walk. That's right, it's my favorite chew toy. I love to find free stuff that fits in my mouth so I can carry it home to play with later. Sticks can sometimes splinter so pine cones are a safer choice when you just want to make a mess. Let the fun begin!

Sierra's Scoop

Hi everyone, it's Sierra. I have been thinking a lot about last weekend. Lake Tahoe is always such a fun place to visit. The water is so cold that it tastes like the bottled stuff. Daddy tossed a stick into the Lake to see if I would fetch it. I could only go in chest deep before I started to shiver. We are still so sad and confused why Cousin Kobe ran away. His loving family is still waiting to hear about his well being and appreciate all your positive thoughts.

Sierra's scoop

Happy Tuesday, everyone. It's Sierra! Whenever I drink from our Polar Bottle, water always splashes on my toes. And just to let you know...I am really not a big fan of getting wet under any circumstances. This weekend while we were at Lake Tahoe, Daddy really wanted me to go swimming. So he found this pawfect stick and started tossing it into the lake. At first, my front feet barely were getting wet but every time I fetched it he would answer by throwing it out a little further. I didn't give up though... even when the waves were crashing over my face and I was standing in neck deep water. Maybe next time I will try to do the Doggy Paddle.

Is this...

...a new toy for me and Sierra? It looks like a broom but it smells like cinnamon.

Maybe I'll take a nibble and see if it's a stick for us to play with.

Just so we're clear, you're sure this isn't a new toy for us to play with?

Mommy said it's a cinnamon broom stick to make our home smell nice. Maybe we'll get to play with it when all the cinnamon-y scent has gone away.

Sierra's Scoop

You know how much I like sticks. Daddy knows how much I like sticks. So why do think Daddy would leave a cool stick like this lying around if I couldn't play with it? Boy was he upset! Even though I only chewed on the pointy end he threw a fit and I had to apologize. It was a gift from his friend Nelson who brought it back from Mexico. After only one bite, I could tell it would make a great chew toy. What does Daddy need a slingshot for anyways? Besides, Mommy said he will shoot his eye out!

Sierra's Scoop

I love sticks! Look at the one I found on our walk last night. Daddy said I couldn't chew on it because that would be too dangerous. So he was nice enough to carry it home for me. Then he put it up high where I couldn't reach it. I was so excited when Daddy brought it down from the mantle tonight. I was finally going to play with my stick. I was a good girl during the photo shoot when Daddy told me to leave it alone. I thought I would be able to play with it when the camera went down but no...Daddy took it to the compost bin. I don't think I will ever get to play with it. I hope I can find another stick soon!

We're on our way...

to our cabin! While Mommy was in college, she loved Chic-fil-A. She was sad that there weren't any in California. That was until a few years ago, when Chic-fil-A came to Sacramento (which is on the way to our cabin). Of course we had to stop there since Daddy had never been there.
I think he loved his chicken sandwich. Have any of your been to Chic-fil-A?
I see the Lake. We're getting close to our cabin!!!
We ran around the front yard as soon as we got there. And Sierra found one of her favorite toys.
