Sierra's Scoop

Wow, Daddy must have been a good boy. Look what the UPS man brought him today. It is a brand new Burton snowboard. It's called the "Nug" but it should be called the "Mini" because it looks a lot smaller than his old one.
Daddy had his old board 10 long years so it was both a sad and happy occasion...a farewell to an old friend and hello to a new one. There is so much new technology and design in this little Nug that it's supposed to be ridden 8-10 cm shorter than the traditional style snowboards out there.
As you can see it's actually 16 cm shorter than his last one so I bet Daddy will be as playful on it as an Eskie on a snowy day. Teddy and I have both sledded before so I think we could totally snowboard. I hope Daddy will take us for a ride down a mountain someday. I can see it now, me riding between Daddy's feet and Teddy riding up front. Now does that sound like fun or what?

Sadderday Number Fourteen

With an emphasis on SAD, this is Sadderday number fourteen. I don't think it's fair that Daddy goes to the snow without me. Today, he drove to Truckee to snowboard at North Star. He had a blast with my cousin, Andrew, even though there were a gazillion people there. Sometimes I get the feeling that Daddy loves the snow almost as much I do.

Not so thankful Thursday

Can you believe Daddy went to the snow without me? I'm still in shock.

It snowed all night...

...and boy was Daddy happy about that because he spent the whole day riding the slopes on his snowboard.

I was so glad that our friend Zoe came up to our cabin today. Can you see her behind me?

Sierra had fun running up and down the street on the fresh fallen snow.

I had fun running around and then taking breaks and being covered by the snow.

After a long day of playing in the snow I took a nap on my favorite spot of the couch while my friend Celia showered me kisses.

Another day...

...to the snow without Teddy Bear! Can you believe it friends? Daddy went to the snow AGAIN and forgot to bring his favorite Son! Can you tell I'm a little upset? I know that this was an EPIC weekend for those who love to ride the snow. This time I sat down with him and had a serious talk. He explained that he wished he could take me and Sierra to the snow. But the resort probably wouldn't let pups onto the chair lifts to get to the top of the mountain. I told him I could get to the top faster than he could on a chair lift. Daddy did come home earlier today than yesterday. The power went out at Kirkwood today and most of the lifts had to shut down. Ha! That'll show him to go to the snow without me!
