Week twenty six in the garden

It looks like our heat wave is finally over and we are so pleased to see that more strawberries are ready to eat.
We lost the battle against spider mites, so Daddy stripped all the leaves off of all our kale plants. It's only been a week or two and there is already new growth. We have had a real kale shortage around our house so Mommy is eagerly watching it grow.
Oh boy did we pick a really big cucumber this weekend. It was a little too big for our taste so we will definitely have to pay more attention to all these little ones growing.
After a half a dozen failed attempts, Daddy gave up on me sniffing a lime for this photo. Sorry Pops, better luck next time.

  3. hey Teddy,

So furry happy the heat wave has left. Your strawberries look so good! Yummy!! I did not know your kale got infested. I hope they do grow back.

Your lime tree is so pawsome! But I understand why you didn't want to sniff. Citrus does not bode well with my nose either.
