Uh oh...

...why are all the roses on the ground?

A few days ago, Daddy noticed that six out of our seven roses bushes in our backyard were infested with powdery mold. So it was time for them to go. (Don't worry, we still have quite a few rose bushes in the front of our house). It was actually a blessing in disguise because even though roses are beautiful and smell heavenly, Mommy had been wanting to replace them with fruit trees. She's been looking at fruit trees for the past year. I wonder what we'll get? Do any of you have fruit trees that you love? Since we have a lemon and a lime tree we're thinking maybe a peach, plum, cherry, and avocado tree.

I wonder how I can save this giant bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day....

  2. Fruit trees are a great idea, Teddy. When the fruit falls, it's a free meal for you and Sierra!

    Love ya lots

  3. We have two orange trees and one lemon. If the yard were bigger, there would be a lot more stuff growing.

  4. hey Teddy,

That is too bad about the beautiful roses. But at least some good came of it, space for your mom's fruit trees. They all sound yummy!

  5. Momma loves roses and was sad that yours got sick and had to be removed. Me and Quinn think the idea of a peach tree or an apple tree would be perfect...shady in the summer with delicious fruit to make into pie and jam in the Fall. Maybe you and Sierra and Daddy could surprise mom with one for Mother's Day?

  7. Hi Teddy!
Please furgive me for not visiting lately butt it isn't my fault, really! It's my mom's fault for not letting me use the 'puter too much!
Anyway, I hope you can find a way to make a Mother's Day rose bouquet for tomorrow!
By the way, my mom loves apple trees but I don't think I like apples, do you?
