Teddy Bear is pretty amazing. He can eat all kinds of fruit without making a funny face. Apples, oranges, blueberries, bananas, even kiwi and pineapple. But not me. The only time I eat fruit is when I am really hungry. Today I was proud to try our own homegrown heirloom cantaloupe. The smell was wonderful and I could hardly wait.
But as you can see, one bite was enough. I think I'm gonna let my pawrents and Teddy enjoy the rest of this one. Yuck.
Mom and I are with woo on this one!

Our first Siberian, Nikita, used to love the smell of bananas. I swore she could hear me peeling a banana on the other side of the house.
ReplyDeleteShe would come running and beg for a bite. Relenting, I would break off a piece and share. She would hold it in her mouth and get a funny look, and then spit it out on the ground.
Next - you know it - she would beg for another piece. She was always convinced that the NEXT piece would be great.
Haha! That's SO funny, Sierra! I'm with you. I only likes a few fruits. I luvs watermelon but that cantaloupe stuff - not so much. Brudder Ranger really doesn't like any fruits at all.

ReplyDeleteI usually politely take fruit (except for blueberries which I love) and spit it out on the carpet where it blends in and no one can see it! That way no one gets offended (at least unless they step on it)! :)
