Week twenty one in the garden

Look at our first watermelon coming in!!!
The sweet potatoes have finally produced slips and are almost ready to transplant.
Our zucchinis are growing like crazy. We get atleast a handful a week. Mommy has been making lots and lots of zucchini bread. Did I mention that Mommy and Daddy have grilled zucchini almost every night?
Can you see our first corn?
And these are our first two cantaloupe.
Look at the size of those cucumbers!
We are starting to see lots and lots of little green tomatoes. Mommy is very happy.
This is our third batch of turnips.
Our perilla and mint are growing really, really well. Mommy can't make tea fast enough to keep up with all the mint.

  1. Your garden is gorgeous at usual, Teddy!
Mom had a sweet potato salad this weekend with hazelnuts and soybeans and onion and it was tossed with yogurt. It was delicious and not like anything mom has ever had before. We just wanted to share that with you.

  11. Teddy your garden is amazing! We harvested our first two tiny grape tomatoes over the weekend. Michael is doing a fine job watering the plants. Tell mom that grilled zucchini chopped up and mixed with chunks of feta, chopped mint, and a drizzle of olive oil is an AWESOME cold salad for lunches.
