Mommy found...

...another black hair on me. She says it's at the very top of my tail. It's a good thing I can't see it. I might want to bite it off. I have mostly white and biscuit colored hair so what is with these 2 black hairs on me? Do any of my other Eskie friends have one or two foreign black hairs on you?

  1. hey Teddy Bear,

So...is getting a black hair on a white dog the same as a human getting a gray hair? If so, I think you need to go to the groomer and get a dye job. Then no one will ever know that you have little black hairs coming in! ;->

  4. Teddy, we were thinking exactly what Suka said!!

Mom said she hasn't seen any black hairs on me, but she'll take a better look tonight. I am white and biscuit too, and for some reason, seem to be getting darker the past few weeks!! Hmmm...

  5. Just think of them as marks of distinction, you are as handsome as ever, Teddy! Don't change a hair on your coat.

  7. Hi Teddy!!

My Kody is a Japanese Spitz, so fairly closely related to eskies. His eskie friends look just like him, as a matter of fact!!. I've found several black hairs on him (he is supposed to be pure white) and did wonder a bit. I think it has something to do with doggy coloring - I just like joking that he's either a mutt or turning black (instead of turning grey, like his mom who has black hair and the occasional grey...)
