Sierra's Scoop

Happy Tuesday everyone, it's Sierra! We're in the middle of a crazy heat wave. The best thing to do is play inside where it's nicely air conditioned. A long time ago before I came along, Teddy Bear met a Boxer puppy outside of Whole Foods. They were both happy to meet each other. The Boxer puppy wanted to play with Brother Bear. That was Teddy's first experience with a Boxer. Then I came along. Did you know that I like to box too? Well, that's what Daddy says. He thinks I could be part Boxer. What do you think?

Daddy...

...so wishes that I would cuddle with him all the time. (Ok, so Mommy does too). But don't you see, Daddy, I just get way too hot. There is too much hair on me. But I'll cuddle with your for just a little bit. Oh the things we do to make the pawrents happy. Are you a cuddler or are you a non-cuddler?

Week twenty five in the garden

Our potato plants are starting to dry up now so it is finally time to harvest these little tater tots.
Our neighbor's tomato plant is growing through a crack in the fence. It is starting to grow little fruits and Mommy said they don't look anything like our toms.
We are still waiting for a cucumber to grow big enough so that we can eat it. This cuke plant is still stretching out so things are looking good.
Hello little zucchini. We're glad to see you while you're still so small.
Add some sour cream and these chives to those dirt nuggets that are almost done and you will have a yummy meal.
Can you tell by looking at this little basil plant that it is really producing some flavorful leaves? Mommy tries to put them into everything. My favorite so far has been basil chicken.

Doctor Daddy

Mommy and Daddy were given a very nice E.N.T Advanced Field Kit. It includes an ophthalmoscope and an otoscope. Plus lots of attachments to do a complete eye, nose, and throat exam. Can you say aaahhhh?

Concert in the park

Tonight we went back to concert in the park. This time we were much closer to the stage where the music is super loud and we had lots of fun watching people dance. Even though it was super hot outside everyone was having a great time. Tonight was also special because it was the last time we will see a friend for a long time because she is moving to Washington state. There were a few other dogs there too but we were all on leashes. We guess this is a no playing park.

Today we harvested...

...the carrots. There were short ones. There were long ones. There were round ones. There were even twins. Mommy says she's going to use them in a roast. Whew. We sure are glad they're not going in our dinner because they look a lot different than the carrots that go in our dinner.
