Sierra's Scoop

Happy Tuesday everyone, it's Sierra. I just love this time of year...all the lights and decorations and the feeling of good cheer in the air. We love seeing oohing and awing at all the pretty lights in our neighborhood. This is by far the coolest decoration we've seen. What do you think?

New Christmas lights

So we used to have some icicle lights like these but they were stolen out of our storage a few years ago. Last year, Auntie Kim gave us some of her extra lights to use but they were not the icicle lights that we loved the most. 

 

 Since Mommy has a job now,  we decided to splurge and buy the lights we missed so much. So Daddy loaded up the cart at Costco and grabbed a few boxes.  He was so excited to put up the lights.  Mommy said he was like a kid in a candy store.  We can't wait to see how they look all lit up.

Daddy came home early to...

...hang Christmas lights outside. He said that it was something that had to be done during the day time.

Sierra's Scoop

Now that we have our tree, Daddy climbed into the attic and brought down all of our Christmas decorations. Today we are just testing strands of lights and placing decorations all over the inside of our house. Mommy was telling me to stay while Daddy took this photo. Great team work Pawrents, do you like my pose?

Friday Night Lights

Did you know that when you move into a home there are about a bazillion projects to do? We are on number one hundred and something on that list of a bazillion. Daddy hung up these lights tonight.

Mommy has been saving them for over ten years. She bought them a long time ago at her first job when she worked at some barn that made pottery. I think Daddy did a great job and the lights look pretty cool.

Thankful Thursday

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! This really is the MOST wonderful time of the year. It's time for family get togethers, baked goodies, Daddy having extra days off, waiting to see the white stuff, and waking up to see what Santa Claus brought for me...I mean for us. I hope he loves the cookies and milk that we are leaving for him. I am very thankful for my pawesome pawrents and sister, Sierra. I think Sierra is really going to miss the Christmas lights. It's such a wonderful celebration for my favorite part of the year. Winter!!!

Sierra's Scoop

I think Christmas is the prettiest time of the year. All the glowing lights, the pretty colors, the wonderful smell of Christmas trees. Not to mention...all the baked goodies that people start gifting this time of year. We see this house on our walk every day/night. It reminds me of a giant gingerbread house. What do you think? Could you imagine if it really were a gingerbread house? I could invite you all over for a pawty. Oh what a feast it would be...a girl can dream, can't she?
