Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for my Aunt Flo and Uncle Tim. Not only are they super loving and fun, they are givers! They gave us these mint plants and 3 eggs from their chickens. I wonder what Mommy will make with the eggs? Maybe she'll use them for cookies or for baked oatmeal...I can't wait!

Week six in the garden

Happy Easter, everyone!!! I hope everyone had a great day family lots of family, food, and love.

Look at how well our seedlings are doing. Our heirloom Brandywine tomatoes are the biggest right now. We have yet to see our heirloom bell peppers sprout. Daddy thinks it might not be warm enough for them to start sprouting.
Our strawberries look just about the same as they did last week. I hope to see them grow this week.
Daddy planted more seeds today...stevia, heirloom cherry tomatoes, parsley, cabbage, broccoli, and more heirloom tomatoes. Sierra and I helped supervise.
After all our hard work, the real fun began. Here I am checking out my Easter basket. There was a green squeaky stuffie, organic beef jerky, and tons of plastic eggs. Mommy and Daddy there were surprises in a few on them. I sniffed my way through the eggs.
So did Sierra, well she did after this picture. She was a caught a little off guard because of the bunny ears.
I found the hidden treasure...organic carob chips. Yummy!!! Sierra ate hers too fast so Mommy wasn't able to get a picture.
Then it was time for the Easter feast...ham, au gratin potatoes, caesar salad, butter biscuits, and green beans.
What was your favorite thing about Easter?
