Week Twenty in the garden

Looks like Mr.Basil was not one to just lay down and die. After a near death experience this hearty little herb plant is finally growing well.
Mommy is always happy when we are picking tomatoes off the vine. Look at them all, it is never ending.
This Teddy Bear doesn't care for beets too much but they sure look pretty in the garden.
Now that there is an abundance of zucchini Daddy wants Mommy to make it into a loaf of his favorite bread.
Come on little bell peppers, we're still waiting for you to turn red. This was the very last week of June so now we are all anxious to see what July has in store for us.

  1. mmmmm basil!

How often do you all water? We keep reading 1 inch a week but it's just so hot, that doesn't seem like enough!

  2. We had homegrown zucchini for dindin tonight, Teddy, but we didn't grown it - Uncle Bill did and he's over-run with it. Lucky us, huh!
Molly hasn't tried beets yet but I have and they're yummy.

    Love ya lots,
