Fun on a Friday

It was another cool day today. I'm loving this weather! Tonight during our walk, Mommy let Sierra bring home a pine cone. Pine cones are one of Sierra's favorite toys. I let her play with it for a little while then it was my turn! Daddy told me that I have to play with it outside because he doesn't me to make a mess inside the house. So here I am sitting on my outdoor mat, destroying the pine cone Sierra brought home. See Sierra stuck inside? We would fight over it so that's why she's inside watching me. I'll have to ask Mommy to bring home two pine cones tomorrow night.
P.S. Moments after this picture was taken Mommy let me come inside to play with my pine cone.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for Mommy's homemade baked goodness! Today she baked four loaves of zucchini bread (with zucchini from our veggie garden) and two dozen blueberry muffins. Two of the loaves are for my Grandpa. The muffins are for my Great Grandma and Cousins from Korea. The other two loaves are for us to eat. Mommy let me have a taste test. The zucchini bread was delicious! Can I have some, please? Mommy does this baking routine every 2-3 days. She wants to bake as many goodies for my Great Grandma and Cousins while they are here. She usually bakes once a week or once every two weeks but now that Great Grandma and Cousins are here Mommy is a baking machine! I'm thankful because I get to taste test everything! I'm also thankful for the cooler weather we've been having. It even sprinkled this morning. During our walk tonight, Mommy said it was a little cold. Cold? What does that word mean?

Happy Birthday...

...Great Grandma! She is seventy three years young today! To celebrate we all had dinner at my Grandparents' house. There was an array of delicious Korean food, including Korean BBQ. Wanna hear the best part? Mommy bought an ice cream cake from Coldstone! She usually makes birthday cakes but she knows how much her Grandma loves ice cream cake. It was so yummy! I hope to have it again soon! Then for dessert I enjoyed gnawing at a bone from the bbq.

Week nineteen in the garden

It's hard to believe that it's been nineteen weeks since we planted our veggie garden. We are enjoying homemade marinara sauce that Mommy makes from all the wonderful tomatoes. We've had spaghetti, bakes ziti, and chicken parmesan to name a few. The green beans are growing beautifully. Mommy says the green bean plant reminds her of Jack and the Beanstalk because of how the plant keeps climbing up and up. Sierra loves the way the basil smells. We are so thankful that they are growing so well. We have cucumbers in all stages, some that are almost ready to harvest and lots of little baby ones. Mommy loves to make cucumber and tomato salad to have with dinners. Daddy planted a cantaloupe plant with the sweet potatoes and it's growing quite well. I think I can smell the delicious melon beneath all that dirt.

Laser tag...

...anyone? My Daddy likes to torture us with his green laser. You see, he knows just how much Sierra and I love chasing that little green light. We run and run after it and then as soon as we catch it it disappears. Then as soon as we let it go, it takes off again! How does that little green light move so quickly? I mean it's faster than us! Sometimes it goes between our legs, up the wall and then down to the other end of the house. We love chasing it. Do any of your parents play laser tag with you?
