Marsh Creek Regional Wilderness Trail

Here are some photos from yesterday's hike. We passed an elementary school while we were on the trail. This was a special elementary school. Wanna know why? They had a petting zoo! We saw so many great animals! I wanted to to get close and meet them all but a fence stood in between us. We saw two horses and we were bummed that they weren't facing us. Mommy thought the Egret looked very serene standing in the creek. The bunny rabbit looked so cute and fluffy. The geese were busy keeping each other company. They hardly noticed we were there! The goat and the sheep were my favorite. They looked so friendly and furry. Mommy really wanted to pet them but that fence again!

  1. Oh, any hike is a good hike, but one that goes near lots of animals is really cool.

  3. What a fantastic hike! It must have been very neat to be so close to the petting zoo animals. I bet there were wonderful things to sniff and explore.
