Week eight in the garden

I can't believe it's been eight weeks since we started our veggie garden.  Everyone is doing great!  The zucchini leaves are growing fast!  We got our first baby bell pepper...they will soon be turning red or yellow.  The beef steak and roma tomatoes are growing too.  The green bean vine has found its way to the lattice.  Isn't that amazing!  I am sad to report that there aren't any new strawberries.  I hope that those pesky birds didn't ruin our entire crop.

  5. Teddy, you are such a good vegetable gardener. My tomato plant pales in comparison to yours. Zucchini... I should try that! I'm sorry to hear about the strawberry crop. Hopefully the nets will help with things.

  6. So tell us again... is the fencing just to keep Sierra out? Or are there other critters (besides birds. and not that Sierra is a critter) that like to eat your veggies?

  7. Your garden is just beautiful, Teddy! There isn't one weed in there!
We're expecting frost tonight so we're very glad our plants are still safe in the greenhouse!

    Love ya lots,
