Thanksgiving part two

Tonight Mommy made a wonderful dinner. Along with a delicious turkey, she made her legendary sweet potato casserole and green bean casserole. There was even a buttermilk apple pie for dessert but Mommy and Daddy were too stuffed to even think about taking one bite. We sure hope there will be dessert tomorrow.  We finished off the night by watching the National Dog Championship.  It sure was fun seeing so many furry friends.

Happy Thanksgiving Take Two

Since Mommy and Daddy spent Thanksgiving Day with Daddy's family. Today was our turn with Mommy's family. Look at that turkey. Mommy has roasted many chickens but this was her first turkey. It turned out delicious.

The table is set.

We are SO ready for dinner to begin.

Daddy thought it would be fun to watch a movie. I wonder what Grandma and Great Auntie are talking about?

He picked "Little Monsters." Grandpa and Mommy's Cousins thought it was a great movie. (We missed our Great Uncle today since he was at work).

Even though there aren't any pictures to prove it, he food was delicious. Turkey, herbed mashed potatoes, green beans with onions and mushrooms, grilled asparagus, soaked buttermilk biscuits, and of course, Korean BBQ...oh my! Dessert was pumpkin pie and buttermilk apple pie. Mommy was quite busy all day. This was Mommy and Daddy's very first time hosting Thanksgiving dinner. It's hard to snap away with the camera when you're hosting. Maybe we'll get better at it next year.

Happy Thanksgiving

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with lots of turkey and other goodies.

After a long walkie, Mommy and Daddy went to Auntie Laura's house to spend Thanksgiving with Daddy's side of the family. Sierra and I had to stay home since they have pups who don't like to be around other pups. Mommy made to take lots of pictures so we wouldn't feel left out. Look at all that yummy food.

These were just two of the pies that were there. There were tons more.

Look at the size of those Reese's peanut butter cups. They were as big as bowls.

And look at their pretty kitty, Molly. Mommy thought she was just beautiful.

Today was...

...a great day to catch up on rest after all the festivities yesterday. We napped a lot. Daddy and Grandpa played golf. Mommy had lunch with a friend who was in town from L.A. I think one of the best things about Thanksgiving is that there are so many leftovers. Here we are waiting for Mommy to give us some turkey. How did you spend the day today?

Las Trampas Take Three

We had so much fun hiking at Las Trampas today. Suka, you were with us in spirit. We started hiking on the left side of the mountain. It was still wet from all the rain that we've had lately. I had fun playing in the muddles. We walked across to the right side of the mountain to begin our hike. That side was much more dry. We saw some cows trying to have a picnic. Sierra and I got really close to see if we could join them. We didn't stay because they didn't have anything good to eat. I found a little stream at the beginning of our hike. I drank a little water from it but Sierra wouldn't get near it. We saw another cow about half way up the mountain. Sierra and I got pretty close to say hi. My Grandpa and Auntie Kim came on the hike with us today. They had a lot of fun with us. I got really, really dirty and wet from our hike today. Daddy had to dry me off before I could go into Auntie Kim's house. We ended up playing at Auntie Kim's longer than we expected so guess what we got for dinner? Turkey and naan bread!!! Sierra and I were in heaven!
