Mommy was cold...

...tonight and wanted to cover up with a blanket. I thought I'd get nice and cozy with her since I love napping on the couch sometimes. If you can't tell, I'm dreaming of running and burrowing through the snow and then feasting on a steak dinner followed by ice cream for dessert. No wonder why Mommy loves this blanket so much...the best dreams happen here.

Sierra's Scoop

Happy Tuesday everyone, it's Sierra! There I was, napping on my favorite couch when all of a sudden...click, click, click. The photo shoot began. Don't you just hate when this happens? I was having the best dream? Want me to fill you in? I was running in the snow, chasing after tons of birdies. After that I went inside and found the biggest pile of steak and steak bones. Then for dessert we had ice cream and donuts. Click, click! I hated waking up from that dream.

Can't you see that I'm very sleepy, Mommy? No more click clicks, please.

Thankful Thursday

Guess what we had for dinner tonight? Chicken fried steak strips, mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. We're so thankful that all the veggies for dinner were from our garden. See the little plate? That's for Sierra and me.
We had to wait patiently until Mommy and Daddy ate their food. I never took my eyes off the yummy-ness that was coming.
Sierra ate hers too too fast and all her pictures came out blurry. Our steak strips were super duper yummy.

Happy 4th of July

Mommy loved these decorations.
We had a great hike to the top of the Tahoe Rim Trail. Sierra really loved the view.
I saw a squirrel.
And had to go after him. I got him cornered in between two rocks. Of course Mommy and Daddy told me to back off.
After our hike it was time to get dinner started. Look at the feast! BBQ chicken, steak, vegetable kabobs, zucchini from our garden, and halibut.

Week thirty nine in the garden

Going, going, gone! After thirty nine weeks, our wonderful veggie garden has come to an end. Today we helped Daddy break down the tomato plants to turn them into compost. Our veggie garden brought us bountiful harvests for the last thirty nine weeks. We've been blessed with great weather and with Daddy's green thumb. Tonight we had the last of the bounty from our garden. Mommy made mashed sweet potatoes with parsley to go along with steak and salad. We still have a lot of parsley left. We are already looking forward to gardening next year.
