Week thirty nine in the garden

Going, going, gone! After thirty nine weeks, our wonderful veggie garden has come to an end. Today we helped Daddy break down the tomato plants to turn them into compost. Our veggie garden brought us bountiful harvests for the last thirty nine weeks. We've been blessed with great weather and with Daddy's green thumb. Tonight we had the last of the bounty from our garden. Mommy made mashed sweet potatoes with parsley to go along with steak and salad. We still have a lot of parsley left. We are already looking forward to gardening next year.

  5. hey Teddy,

Thirty-nine weeks is a long time! Very impressive! Your humans must be proud! I bet the home-grown food tasted great. And my human, K, said the mashed sweet potato with parsley sounds amazingly good!

That is nice you helped your human dad take apart the garden. Composting is excellent. Good job!
