Sierra's scoop

Hi there everyone, it's Sierra. If I know one thing for sure...it's that I am not a picky girl. I'm the type of girl that will play with a toy whether it's new or used. Somethings are actually better used. That is why we were very excited for Daddy when Grandpa's sister was giving away a two person infrared sauna. Wow!!! Daddy has always wanted one of these but since they are such a big investment he could never convince himself to buy one. Well it looks like all that waiting finally paid off. Ah... the smell of cedar, ooh wait....I can already feel the heat. Hey Teddy Bear, let's get out of this sweatbox before we melt. I think we'll let Daddy enjoy this hand me down without us.

Sierra's Scoop

Hi everyone it's Sierra. Look what I found hiding in the closet today. There was a brand new ball stuffed into our toy basket. I'm usually not allowed to pull out new toys on my own but thank goodness the closet door was cracked open just a bit. That made it easier for me to open it and grab our new toy. Can you tell that I love it?

Last night while Mommy was at her and Auntie Flo's Pampered Chef party, Daddy pulled out a new toy for us. Sierra and I both had fun playing with it for a while. Sierra got tired though and went night night. I wanted to play some more. Whoever designed this toy was a genius. You can bite it from every angle. There are so many facets to this toy and I love it! Do you like how I left it perched on the edge of the couch? I left it there for Sierra. I like to tease her with our toys so see if she'll come play. Then I swoop under her and snatch it as she's going for it. I guess it's a big brother thing. I got so tired from all the fun I had playing with my new toy that I decided to take a quick nap.

P.S. It rained today but I'm happy to report that the rain stopped in time for our walk. Whew! Now it's raining again. I think my magic rain powers are back.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for our new water bowl. Mommy and Daddy ordered this from Jeffers Pet. We've had a stainless steel water bowl for a long time. Mommy had pieced together a stainless steel soup bowl with a cover from a Water Hole. She was so glad when our new water bowl went on sale. You might be wondering why we need a water bowl with a cover on it. You see, ever since I was a puppy, I've loved to go water bowl diving. I just can't help myself...all that water...especially if it has ice in it. So the solution was to find a water bowl that had a lid on it. We think we'll keep our make-shift water bowl and use our new one for when we travel. You know how us dogs take a while to adjust to new things...unless they're new toys.

The day after Christmas...

...was spent playing and playing with our new toys. Mommy still has to operate on the squeaky bone toy. Sierra and I took turns playing with the squeaky whale and the disk rope toy. I started destroying the disk rope toy so Daddy put it away until tomorrow. We had a great walk today. Daddy said the rain was coming so we were glad to get our walk in. We got an extra treat after dinner tonight. Beef tendons. Mommy and Daddy don't understand how we can enjoy them. They say they're too stinky. Sierra and I love them though. I really really enjoyed mine. Mommy tried to get a picture of Sierra with hers but she likes to hide when she's eating hers. How did you all spend the day after Christmas?
