Hi everyone, we hope your weekend was full of joy. We live in a very windy city. There is always a breeze blowing through, but at times it can be a bit gusty. Daddy said it might rain tomorrow so of course it was extra windy today. Unfortunately one of our our patio shades did not survive. We just put them up a few weeks ago so we are all very disappointed.
Good thing we staked our Baby Bell's pepper plant because it has these little babies growing. Since it is our first time growing this variety, we have no idea how big they will grow before they start to ripen. We hope it's sooner than later.
Even though there aren't a lot of them, the carrots are getting really big. Last year they were so small I could eat one in a single bite but not this year.
Hooray for limes. I just love the shade from the lime tree. We definitely planted it in just the right spot so I can relax by the garden on sunny days. The bad thing about limes as Sierra always likes to point out is that they really don't make good chew toys.
Wow a lime tree, that is so neat! Sorry about your shade!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer about your patio shade.
ReplyDeleteWe've never eaten a lime before. Do you think we'd like it, Teddy?
Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
hey Teddy,
ReplyDeleteSorry about your patio shade. Bummers. Hope you can find one that will withstand all the wind. Your garden is looking wonderful! The lime tree is very cool!

Sorry your shade got eaten by the wind. Earlier this year, the same kind of wind ate our triangular cloth sun roof on the deck.
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks luscious, even the limes! We agree, though, limes are NOT good to chew!
Don't you just love koala bears? They look so much like teddy bears - so cute and cuddly. But did you know that they should not really be called koala bears because they are not really bears at all? So where did the name "koala bears" come from? adorable teddy bear names
