Week seventeen in the garden

It's supposed to be in the 90's this week. We've got our paws crossed that this broccoli will beat the heat. Daddy planted tons of beet seeds yesterday. We hope to see little seedlings very soon. Our potato tunnel is doing great. We can't wait to see how many potatoes are under all that dirt. We've got some Romas that are almost ready for harvest!!! My sniffer tells me that Daddy just put down some organic citrus fertilizer. I've gotta figure out how to get underneath that mulch so I can roll around in that fertilizer.

  1. Your garden is looking great as always, Teddy. Dad told us yesterday that our tomato plants have flowers on them. We are way behind you!

  4. We kept burying our potato vines as well...until we ran out of compost. Dug some up on friday and OH MY WORD! We probably got more than all the potatoes that had all last summer to grow. AMAZING!

Be sure to show pics of the harvest.

  6. LOL. Is that your way of covering your scent or are you claiming the citrus fertilizer so that whatever grows in that patch is automatically yours?
