Bye Bye San Marzanos

We had quite a wind storm today. There was lots of whistling and howling going on outside. Our San Marzano tomato plant wasn't strong enough to withstand the fierce winds. We're thankful that the rest of our garden is okay. How was the weather for you today?

    Too bad about the wind knocking down your S M tomato! It felt cold yesterday BUT we had sun.

    How nice to see u both after so long...
    Sorry about your exotic sounding tomato plant.We are glad the rest of the garden is rest.

    Our weather here is just perfect...just a lil hint of winter, warm sunny days and fresh air.
    But it will soon turn all dark n cold.

    hey Teddy,

    So sorry for your lost tomato plant. I am glad, though, that the other veggies survived. It is has been extremely windy in my neck of the woods as well, but at least the sun has been out and most of the leaves have turned gorgeous colors and are falling rapidly to the ground. Lovely Autumn days out my way!

    Hope the wind subsides so you can enjoy being outside!
