Sierra's Scoop

Thank goodness Mommy wasn't here to see this nasty worm crawling across the kitchen. Ok i take that back. I wish Mommy was always with us. I bet Daddy would have quickly shielded her from this gross little thing. Nothing terrifies Mommy more than snakes, worms, and lizards. Daddy thinks it must of hitched a ride on Teddy Bear during the walk but were just not sure. Now we're all on the look out.

Sierra's Scoop

Happy Tuesday, everyone. It's Sierra! I finally broke free from that little gorilla's grip. I still see him hanging around from time to time but I don't dare go near him. I sure love my worm though. He has rattlers and squeakers in his head and tail so it doesn't matter which end I bite on. Teddy said worms will live even after you rip one in two. Hmmm...I don't believe that for one second Teddy Bear. So stay away from my red wormie.

Sierra's Scoop

Happy Tuesday, everyone...it's Sierra! Can you believe we finally opened presents today? This little worm was inside my Christmas stocking.

Let me have him, Mommy!

I love him already. I can tell that we are really going to have fun with this worm stuffie. Tug of war with Teddy Bear is on!

Week thirty three in the garden

The fall weather left us yesterday. We had temperatures in the high eighties all weekend. The temps are going up to the nineties all week. I guess I'll be ok with the hot weather since our garden is still blooming. We haven't seen any strawberries for a long time but were glad to see the first one today.
We have lemon balm in abundance.
Mommy and Daddy have been enjoying lettuce in their salads with dinner every night.
Sierra heard something near the mint plant. (I sent her to supervise today since I was napping with Mommy).
It's a good thing Mommy wasn't out in the garden today because look at what Daddy found. A worm! Mommy thinks they are gross.
There is a cabbage sprouting. We love fall/winter gardening too.
Mommy thinks the shape of this butternut squash is just pawfect.
And look what we discovered today. One of our neighbors has a pomegranate tree. We hope we get to share in their harvest.
