More crab?

Yes, please!!!  Daddy went deep sea fishing again.  He says the San Francisco Bay is even more beautiful on a boat.  Look at the size of that fish Daddy caught.  He caught a few more but his phone died about half way through the day.

The water has been rough these past few weeks.  As you can see, Daddy was not feeling too well.  The Dramamine must not have been strong enough.
Look at all the birdies that were chasing the fish that were on the boat.
Mmmmmm.  We can't wait to eat frsh crab for dinner tomorrow night as we celebrate NYE.

Crab Happy

Daddy and Grandpa went out on a great big boat today.  The boat was called the New Seeker.  One of Daddy and Grandpa's vendors put together a deep sea fishing trip out on the Bay.  Look at all that crab.    All together there were 72 crabs caught today.  Daddy, Grandpa and all their friers caught lots of rock fish also.  Daddy wasn't feeling too well and he forgot to take pictures of the fishes.  We'll be sure to take pictures when Mommy cooks them.

The Captain had a Lab named Madi.  She was a beauty and did laps and laps around the boat, keeping everyone company and of course looking for human foodies.  What a fun life she has being out on the deep water almost every day.  Daddy said she barked at the crab every time the pods were lifted out of the water.

The boat went all around the Bay, even under the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge.

Here she is just waiting for the next pod of crab to come up.

Yummy, yummy, Daddy.  Thank you for bringing home such a yummy dinner.  Mommy cooked up the crab and served it with lots of butter and lemon and veggies.

Happy Birthday...

...Grandpa! Is that crab I smell?

Uncle Bey Bey wanted to get some of the crab too. It was delicious!

Grandma was nice and only put a few candles on Grandpa's cake. We're so glad we were able to share this special day with our Grandpa!

Sierra's Scoop

We have been living the life lately. Over the weekend I went to the beach with my family and some of our friends and we had so much fun. I loved every minute of it. This was my very first time seeing the ocean. I thought Lake Tahoe was big but I was pretty amazed by the ocean. It looks like it goes on forever. WOW!!!
Besides lots of sea gulls, there were a bunch of sea shells scattered across the beach. I found a big one but it was kind of stinky.
Then I saw something very strange. It looked like a big spider crawling on the sand. I think I was getting too close because it tried to pinch my nose. Just then a big wave came in and swept the little dungeness crab back to sea.
The only thing I didn't like was all the sand. I played fetch for like two throws then I got sand in my mouth.
Also the sand is hot so you have to dig down to find some cooler sand.

Sierra's Scoop

It was so cold today! Daddy had to give me an extra blanket before he went to work. Tonight we went to Grandpa's birthday party. It was really a crab feast and I could barely eat my boring food after the smell of crab and butter filled the air. Grandpa made me kiss my Uncle Bey Bey, and to top it off it was on the lips too. Yucky! I don't even kiss Mommy or Daddy on the lips. I think my Uncle Bey Bey has a secret crush on me. Eeeewwwww!!!!!!!!

A fun day with Uncle Bey Bey

Uncle Bey Bey and I spent most of the day by ourselves. Mommy and Grandma were shopping and running errands. Daddy was fixing his truck and Sierra was supervising. Grandpa was playing golf. When Mommy and Grandma finally got home we ate dinner and then went for a walk. I was exhausted after a day of playing and waiting for Mommy and Grandma to hurry home. I went to my favorite sleeping area at Grandma and Grandpa's house and settled in for a nap. Mommy thought it was SO cute that I was resting my head of the legs of the chairs. She decided she HAD to take pictures. Of course, this woke me up. Come on, Mommy, I'm trying to nap here! She should know by now that there is no sneaking up on Teddy Bear. Grandma prepared Daddy's favorite dish, crab with spicy miso broth. Of course I had to smell the crab. MMMMMMMMMMM!!!

A real live...

...crab. Grandpa accidentally brought this little guy home with him. Not to worry, friends, he will serve his purpose and provide my Grandma and Grandpa with a delicious meal. This is my reaction to meeting a crab for the first time.
