Week thirty eight in the garden

A while back, Daddy was thinking about how a California winter can be full of sunny days and perfect for growing food. So we planted our winter garden not knowing if it would even grow.

So when this weekend brought the first frost of the year we quickly threw up the plastic on our new home made green house.  We are hoping to grow lettuce, romaine, spinach, cabbage, radish, and bok choy into the new year.
I had to take a peak this morning to make sure things were ok in there.

It was so sunny and warm inside when it was sunny and cold outside. That's what I call mission accomplished.
