Week Ten in the garden- Earth Day

The kale is growing quiet well. Nothing around it even compares.
This little squash plant is already starting to grow little zucchinis. How exciting!
Our yukon golds are finally coming up. So that means it is time for some hilling.
Today Daddy mulched the tomato bed with fresh bark. Boy does it looks nice.
Strawberries are always better the second year around and judging by the size of these plants we will be enjoying more of these these little berries.
In honor of Earth Day we are planting a persimmon tree.
First Daddy dug a really deep hole and then he planted our new tree in a circle of bark. We think it looks great. What did you do for Earth Day?
