Happy Tuesday everyone, it's Sierra! Mommy was still not feeling one hundred percent today. One minute she was hot then the next she was cold. I was trading off with Teddy every once in while to make sure one of us was always at her side. On a lighter note, last night Teddy and I were both put on high alert when we heard a ruckus from outside. Daddy quickly grabbed his flashlight and pulled the screen door open for us to go see who, if anyone was there. Guess what we found? A freakishly hideous, downright disgusting possum. It was walking across our fence toward our garden so Teddy and I growled and let out some vicious barks but that only made the little marsupial freeze in his tracks. Thankfully, the hose was already laying out so Daddy sprayed him in the face till he scurried away. Daddy said he might eat the fruits and veggies in our garden so I hope that ugly little thing never comes back ever again!
You are a good boy for making sure that your mom is ok. Hope she gets well really soon. We missed you and Sierra!!

You and Teddy are the best nurses ever, Sierra! We know your mom appreciates your great care.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got rid of the possum. You worked too hard on your garden to have him reap the benefits!
Love ya lots

We hope you and Teddy were able to nurse mommy fully back to health! Summer colds are truly icky and I bet she sure appreciated having you both around to take care of her!
ReplyDeleteGlad the opossum got the message that he was not welcome!
We have that problem too. Stanzie goes out and kills them....we don't let her out after dark anymore, we got tired of burying possums, yuck.

WE hope your mom is feeling better now! You two are probably taking good care of her!
