Sierra's Scoop

What? Give me a break, who hasn't walked into a screen door before? I actually ran right through it the first time. I was very excited to come inside after Daddy came home from work. Mommy said it sounded like I ripped the whole door down, but I actually made it better by creating a custom doggy door. I secretly hope no one fixes this for a while, that way Teddy Bear and I can go out to the front yard any time we want. Have any of you ran through and broken a screen door before?

  3. We wish we could go through our screen door, Sierra, but clever mom put up a fancy baby protector so we'd have to launch ourselves through that and the screen to break free! Nah - not worth it!

    Love ya lots

  4. OMD, Sierra! I did that EXACT same thing! Only I was running out cuz I heard an evil squirrel in our backyard and wanted to defend my mom and dad from it. Wow...it was really surprising when I did that. But I got the squirrel chased off!

  8. Hi Sierra - Dad had a retractable screen door put in the back of the house. It's almost invisible. We haven't broken through it yet because when the screen door is open to get the cross-breezes, Mom puts a gate in front of the bottom part. She said that Ollie and I AND the screen are an accident ready to happen.

If we saw a squirrel in our yard, we'd probably jump over the gate and crash through the screen to get to him.

We like your creation of the doggy door.

    Hugs and yips,
    Cappy and Ollie
