Week twenty two in the garden

Look at how big our cantaloupes have gotten!
I was so close to leaving some pee-mail. Daddy caught me just in the knick of time.
I couldn't get over the smell of the mint.
We have lots of tomatoes. Did I mention that our tomato plants are HUGE? They are bigger than Daddy.
These onions are poisonous. They don't smell that bad.
Our peppers are doing great. I think one is ready for harvest.
The best surprise tonight was Daddy finding this watermelon. The vines spread out so far that we missed it.
Our lemon balm is growing beautifully, don't you think? Mommy uses it for tea.

  3. For our usual Sunday gathering mom made a salad of tomatoes, watermelon, red onions, mint with a little drizzle of olive oil and garnished with little discs of goat cheese! All the humans loved it. I LOVED the cuban spice pork that dad roasted on the grill. Your garden is amazing, Teddy!

  6. MELONS!!! Wow, you have it all! We don't think about those crops that need a lot of time and heat. We seem to be short on both of those up north!!
Good job and very green paws, Teddy and Sierra!
