What's this...

...from the Bass Pro Shop?  Mommy went to visit with a friend who is in town from L.A.  Daddy went to the Bass Pro Shop to look for sleeping mats.  He found these really great mini beds as I like to call them.  After having 2 air mattresses finally die out, my Daddy decided that these were the best choice.  I think they are quite comfortable too.  But I don't need fancy mini beds like Mommy and Daddy do when we go camping.  I like sleeping on the cold ground, one on one  with nature...the way life should be.

Fun on a Friday

Look at our new toy.  It's similar to a tennis ball only a little bigger, softer, and with a squeaker on the inside.  Daddy let me play with it first.  I took it from him and immediately went underneath the table.  Then of course he wanted  to play with me.  He had me do some tricks like give and jump.  I had fun doing tricks for treats.  Now I am off to play with my new toy before handing it off to Sierra.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for our waistpack.  My Grandpa got is for us.  It holds 2 bottles of water and has a big pocket to hold our cookies, poop bags, our ball (to play with at the park), house keys, and lots of other things.  Daddy usually wears the waistpack.  Grandpa also gave us a waistpack that only  holds 1 water bottle.  Mommy wears that one when we go on long hikes since we need so much water.  What would we do without water on our walks?  I'm getting thirsty  just thinking about it!

Good Humor...

...ice cream.  This company has been around since the early 1920s.  Can you believe how lucky I am that it would end up in my garage?  WOW!  I wonder when all the ice cream is going to get here to go into the freezer.  I am anxiously awaiting that day.:)  I love all ice cream, any flavor!  What are you favorite ice cream flavors?

Drip system project...

complete!  My Daddy finished his project for our veggie garden.  We aren't sure if the timer is working right so we may have to get a new one.  We have been testing out the drip system for the passed few days and it is working great!  My job is to go around the garden and make sure that all the veggies are getting the water they need.  As a reward, I get cheese.:)  Who could ask for a better payment than that?  And guess what my Parents are having for dinner?  Left over Korean BBQ!  Yummmmy!!!

Week seven in the garden

Wow, I can't believe that it's been seven weeks since we started our veggie garden.  Everyone is doing great!  There are little tomatoes growing in the vines.  It's so cool to see!  Today we went for a hike at Lake Chabot.  There were so many things to see.  We saw a family of ducks.  They were very pretty.  We even saw a lizard!  Can you believe Mommy got close enough the take the picture?  She hates those things!  After our hike we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a Mother's Day dinner.  Everyone had abalone, shrimp, and Korean BBQ.  I was only interested in the Korean BBQ.  Thank goodness I got plenty of it to eat!  I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day with your Mommies.
