I helped Daddy...

...with a little project.  Mommy and Daddy have noticed that there were lots of buggies near the compost bin.  Tonight, Daddy made a lid for it.  He even put a pretty knob on the "door" of the compost bin so that it would be easy to access it.  Mommy went out to dinner with her friends tonight and she was so happy when she came home and saw Daddy's project.  Of course I supervised and help my Daddy.  I am a great Project Manager.

My Daddy has been learning to play this song lately so I thought I would give it a try.  Of course, I  didn't sound as good as my Daddy when I tried playing the guitar.  I suppose I will leave the guitar playing to my Daddy and get back to what I do best...making my parents happy, being head of security in our home, and looking after my little sister, Sierra.

Week one in the garden

It' been one week since my Daddy planted all the veggies and herbs in our garden.  The plants are all growing fast (strawberries, tomatoes, bell peppers) and we are anxiously waiting for all the seeds to sprout.  Today was a great day.  We went for a long walk and ran around at the park since there were no other dogs there.  Mommy shared more of her short ribs with me.  I was in Heaven!

Today we went...

...to Grandpa and Grandma's house.  We enjoyed a nice long walk and had fun with my Uncle Bey Bey.  My Grandparents have a jungle at the end of their property.  As I looked through the fence, I wondered, "What's back there?"  I hope that I can find out one day.  We were given some treats of leftovers...short ribs.  Yummmyyyyyyy!  We all passed out after that.  I love my Grandparents' hardwood floors.  It feels so nice and cool.  Can you believe my Uncle Bey Bey has 2 beds?  Well, he actually has 3, that one is in the kitchen.  Can you say spoiled?  What a nice life we live.:)

Fun on a Friday

What a fun day!  Today is my best friend, Milo's barkday and we celebrated with a puppy pawty!  We all had steaks for dinner and a special banana barkday cake for dessert.  We had lots of fun playing.  Milo has 2 furry sisters, Mia and Bella.  Bella was nowhere to be found but Mia was snuggled in the bathroom sink.  I was so excited to see her that I started squealing!  Isn't she pretty?

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for our veggie garden.  Daddy has been working a lot in the garden.  He says that almost all of the seeds are planted.  He just had a few more to plant.  I help my Daddy by watching him to make sure that he plants all the seeds correctly.  I'm pretty sure he really appreciates my help.  I can't wait the crop comes!

Presents...

arrived today.  I could hardly wait to open them.  I wonder what could be inside?  Greenies?  Toys from Canada?  All Natural beef tendons?  Much to my disappointment, the presents were for Mommy and Daddy.  All I found inside were coconut oil and seeds for our garden.  Maybe next time the presents will be for me.

My Mommy...

...isn't feeling well.  She barely made it through our walk today.  She thinks she ate some bad lentils.  BAD lentils for making my Mommy so sick!  Thank goodness she didn't share any of her lentils with me.  I brought my Mommy some Papaya Enzyme to feel better.  I think it's working.

I promise...

...not to eat any of these strawberries when they grow.  But, I do LOVE strawberries.  I really hope I can keep my promise.  We had a great walk today.  When we came home, we all went to check our garden.  You can already see the strawberry plants growing.  See the pretty flowers?  After we admired the growing plants, my Daddy pulled out the hose to water the plants.  Do you see how far I am standing away from him?  I don't like the hose.  My parents can't figure out why...I will have to keep them guessing.

Happy Spring everyone

Today was a FUN day.  I got to go to Home Depot with Mommy and Daddy to pick out plants for our garden.  Before Home Depot, Mommy ran into Costco to get a few things and guess what else she got?  Nonfat yogurt!  Of course, she shared with me.  It was so tasty and nice and cold!  My daddy did a great job on our raised garden bed.  I inspected all of his work, that was my help for the day.  

Fun on a Friday

Today, my Mommy had more fun than me.  I aim to please so I let my Mommy put this cowel on me.  She thinks it's soooo cute when she plays dress up with me.  I smile and let her take pictures of me.  I know what's waiting for me at the end.  TREATS!  It's worth letting my Mommy have fun.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for Cuties!  Mommy lets me share them with her.  She pulls them out of the fridge and they are a nice, cold, delicious snack!  I can hardly wait until she has more.

Look what came...

...in the mail today?  LOTS of packages!  I was SO excited when Daddy came home with all of these boxes.  I couldn't wait to see what was inside...maybe Wellness treats or all natural beef tendons or toys?  Imagine my disappointment when Mommy started unpacking food and organic black beans and other organic goodies.  Oh well, I guess all presents can't be for me.  Mommy deserves to get goodies too...especially since Kelly Clarkson's cd was in one of the boxes.  Mommy thinks she's great and I love watching Mommy dancing and singing along to Kelly's songs.  

Catching up...

on some reading.  Today was a nice relaxing day.  I decided to take it easy after a fun filled day of playing with friends from yesterday.  Mommy forgot to bring her camera to our play date with my friend Kahlua.  He is a Bernese Mt. Dog/Australian Shepherd mix.  We puppies had fun while our parents went out to dinner.  Since it was such a relaxing day, after our walk, I wanted to read some recipes.  I hope Mommy makes me new snacks soon.

Visitors

I had a visitor today...be BFF,  Milo!  We had fun in the backyard and rolling each around!  It sure is exhausting!  Now it's time to go play with more friends.

Fun on a Friday

When Daddy got home, we did lots of tricks for treats.:)  This is one of Daddy's favorite tricks that I do, me jumping on his back and staying there until he gives me a treat.  After a long walk and dinner, and performing more tricks, I was pooped!  I napped on my tile and my parents started laughing hysterically when they saw that I had hidden my head behind the couch to drown out the noise.  Why do humans have to watch TV with the volume up so loudly?

Thankful Thursday

Guess what came in the mail for me?  A package from Only Natural Pet Store!  There were shampoos and sprays but the best part was all natural beef tendons.  They are one of my favorite snacks.  Mommy lets me have one every few days.  Yummmmm!

Wordless Wednesday: Giving Mommy some laughs because I dislike blankets on me

Sharing...

...is caring.  That's what my Daddy always says.  I have been laying (just for a few seconds) on my old bed for the passed few days.  Mommy thinks it's cute.  I gave it to Sierra when she came around since I don't like to lay on beds.  I usually sleep on my tile but when it gets cold, I either go on my couch or on my parents' bed.  I wanted Sierra to know that it's still my bed (since I had it first), that is why I am leaving  my scent on it.  Ha ha!

Ice cream...

...is one of my favorite things.  Mommy usually makes me my own puppy ice cream but since it's not summer yet, she has not made any.  So she let me have a taste of hers.  Boy was it delicious!  I think I'm ok with waiting for Mommy to make my own ice cream as long as she lets me share hers!

Brush'em, brush'em, brush'em...

This is what Mommy and Daddy say when it's time to brush my teeth.  When I hear them say this, I run to the bathroom and patiently wait for a tooth brushing.  I don't enjoy it all that much but I love the toothpaste.  It tastes like minty vanilla.  What could be better?

Sneaky...

...under the table.  I like to stay under the table when Mommy and Daddy are eating.  This morning they were enjoying organic homemade waffles w/ organic maple syrup.  Mommy read somewhere that waffles were a no no for dogs but since they are organic and homemade, she let me have a few pieces.  

Fun on a Friday

We had a great walk today...cool and breezy with lots of dark clouds.  I am so glad that we beat the rain.  Mommy says that the weather has been unpredictable lately!  We had the park all to ourselves today.  It's fun to run around on the grass. 

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for Organic Animal Crackers that my parents share with me.  They are so DELICIOUS!  I am so glad every time Mommy and Daddy let me have one.  I think it's time for Mommy to get more cookies!

Being brushed...

...isn't so fun.  A bath yesterday, a major brushing today.  I think Mommy is trying to torture me.  She says that I'm shedding like crazy like now because I am getting rid of my fur winter coat.  I try to bite the brush when she brushes me for too long.

Terrible Tuesday...

...only because it was bath day.  Do I REALLY need a bath every month?  I think I was clean enough to go without a bath for atleast a few more months.  Too bad Mommy didn't think so.  She woke me up from my peaceful nap to lead me into the bathroom.  Thank goodness there was cheese after the terrible bath!

It was so windy today...

...from the storm!  There was a little break from the rain so we were able to go for our daily walk.  Can you see the dark clouds?  I had a hard time keeping my eyes open because it was so windy.  I loved the cool breeze!  Happy March, everyone!
