Week eighteen in the garden

Happy Father's Day to our wonderful Daddy. Mommy said he was the best Daddy Doggy, but he quickly corrected her by saying he's the best Doggy Daddy. As you can see, we are eating lots of tomatoes lately. These extra sweet little cherries go well with a salad. Mommy loves her San Marzano's. She is going to make lots of yummy Italian sauce with their red fruit. This kale makes great smoothies. At least that's what Mommy and Auntie Kim say. Daddy is still on the fence as they say. He likes fruit in his smoothies way more than veggies but we're still trying to change his mind about that. Yay for zucchini flowers. That means lots of zucchinis to eat. Daddy said the flowers on the chives remind him of fireworks. I kind of see what he means. Maybe he is just looking forward to Fourth of July festivities. They are in just a few weeks. We hope everyone had a great Father's Day.
