Week thirty three in the garden

The fall weather left us yesterday. We had temperatures in the high eighties all weekend. The temps are going up to the nineties all week. I guess I'll be ok with the hot weather since our garden is still blooming. We haven't seen any strawberries for a long time but were glad to see the first one today.
We have lemon balm in abundance.
Mommy and Daddy have been enjoying lettuce in their salads with dinner every night.
Sierra heard something near the mint plant. (I sent her to supervise today since I was napping with Mommy).
It's a good thing Mommy wasn't out in the garden today because look at what Daddy found. A worm! Mommy thinks they are gross.
There is a cabbage sprouting. We love fall/winter gardening too.
Mommy thinks the shape of this butternut squash is just pawfect.
And look what we discovered today. One of our neighbors has a pomegranate tree. We hope we get to share in their harvest.

  1. Your garden is looking fabulous as always, Teddy! We've never had a pomegranate before. Mom says they're too seedy for us.

  8. hey Sierra,

What an amazing garden! Are you the official taster? Sorry about the hot weather, that is a drag, and not fun this time of year.

Your butternut squash looks like a huge peanut. I think my parrot sibling would eat it!

    Happy gardening!
